even akbar is brother in that way

nowadays first cousin marriage not allowed because first cousins are considered siblings and medical issues of children born from such marriage

in 16th century that was fine i guess

Even now Islam allows marriage within cousins.

Even in south Indians, some cousins can marry - like the children of a brother and sister. Till recently, a girl could be married to her mama also!
