"I don't know how you say good-bye to whom and what you love. I don't know a painless way to do it, don't know the words to capture a heart so full and a longing so intense." --- Anonymous

Some emotions are hard to describe for one doesn't know how or where to start it and if started how or where to finish it...

After watching Ashvik as Arvi for 2 years and a couple of months, today, I find myself standing in the crossroads of indescribable emotions. I have so much to pour out, but I am well aware that no amount of words are enough to pen down the extravagance of overwhelming, over riding emotions I have ever felt for an on screen and eventually a real life couple like Arvi and Ashvik...

PR is the first serial I have watched and Arvi are the first couple I have literally fallen into ne crashed into love with... I have always been nonchalant about the daily soaps. However, that didn't remain the same forever. One day, while flipping through the channels, I came across their laptop scene and that was enough to hook me to this magic called Arvi. For the first time in my 21 years (2 years back) did I find myself actually looking forward to watching a daily soap.

The magic called Arvi continued since that fateful day. Through their fights, their altercations and their petty squabbles, Arjun and Purvi were the match made for each other. Arjun Kirloskar who was used to having things at the snap of his fingers found the most unlikely match in a middle class girl Purvi"and it was indeed a match made in heaven.

If anyone asks me, "Which is your favorite Arvi scene ?", I will not be able to pin point one because each Arvi scene is beautiful has a significance of its own. But if someone asks me, "Which according you is the most epic Arvi scene?", then I would without any hesitation say"It has got to be the Shiv Mandir scene. This was the first time these two realized there is something more than their mutual dislike for each other- something that both of them hitherto did not know exist for each other . Although both of them were not able to name it at the time, I, as a viewer knew it was a harbinger of one of the most beautiful love stories I was about to witness. The background, the setting, the day and how could I forget... the CUTEST snake ever ( I always found snakes scary and creepy before that day) created a perfect ambience for the inception of a PHENOMENON called ARVI...

As the stories unfolded their fights got crazier resulting in Purvi leaving the office. But it also made Arjun realize Purvi's importance in this office as well as in his life. The patch up and the tolerance that followed paved a way for understanding and a beautiful friendship between them. It also gave us an opportunity to see the previously unseen ( or that emerged on an off) side of Arjun -- especially the side that Arjun had kept concealed from the World... or that tender/soft side always existed but came into fore with Purvi being around..

The Holi scene, Arjun's first heart felt laughter, them being drenched with water and color of Holi, Purvi inviting him to her home for cleaning up , the stolen glances, Arjun's longing for Purvi visible through his eyes --- Arjun depicted thousand emotions in that 5 minutes scenes.

Purvi Vinay engagement fiasco brought them closer. Their friendship strengthened and Arjun became Purvi's staunchest support system. The Pune conference, Arjun's gifting blue saree to Purvi and the dance that followed made " Dil Kyoun yeh mera shor Kare" the Arvi anthem as well as Arvian and Ashvikian anthem. It also inspired the first ever Arvi/Ashvik AT..

Pune conference was a landmark also in the sense that the vamp conspired against Arjun and Purvi but it actually worked in their favor ultimately. Arjun's innocent peck on Purvi's forehead in an attempt to console her during the MMS scandal, Purvi's angry outburst followed by her leaving the office and each of them trying to analyze and revisit their feelings for each other was depicted marvelously. We got to see Arjun, the hard core, workaholic, practical businessman cry like a child and seek his deceased mother's assistance in assessing the depth and truth of his feelings for Purvi is my favorite scene of Arjun. "She is just yet another employee, but tell me MOM why does it pain me to see her in tears?"... AK's genuine question to his mom's spirit ( or the deep recesses of his own introspection... I would never know) and the tear drops that dropped from his eyes after the ULTIMATE realization.. Arjun was as vulnerable, as human and as weak as any mortal...

Arjun's confession that followed the realization was yet another landmark in the history of television. Purvi's initial rejection or rather her unwillingness to acknowledge those feelings, Arjun trying to make her see the truth, the overnight wait and the weary resignation the morning after and his decision to leave for Canada after giving his lady love 24 hours of ultimatum... Arjun Kirloskar was a PHENOMENON...

The temple scene that followed... " Mein Bhagwan thode na hoon, jo mein chahoon who ho jaaye", him thanking Purvi profusely for making him a good human being and his gratitude towards India for giving him the best gift of his life"Purvi. Arjun Kirloskar made me cry that day. Arjun eyes spoke more than his words. From happiness to regret to sadness to desperation to pleading to gratitude to longing --- Arjun's eyes did most of the talking in that scene..

What followed was Purvi's airport confession. Her regret of not being able to stop him on time, the tears that followed and her relief on seeing him in front of her"something that she had not imagined in her wildest dreams, her sweet, shy, yet heartfelt confession - a class apart. No candle lit dinner, no picture perfect backdrop, no honey coated words but a confession of utmost simplicity and hence so genuine and beautiful-- something sprinkled with stardust. Hadn't Da Vinci for that matter said, "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication" ???

Throughout both the confessions it rained in torrents and the rain has remained associated with Arvi for ever.

" If winter has come, can spring be far behind"??? said Bard. In Arvi's case it was just the opposite. The course of true love, it is said, does never run smooth"for Arvi their journey of love it was like a rollercoaster ride. The brief Springs of their lives were always followed by longest and never ending Winters. No sooner had they confessed their feelings for each other, the Universe conspired to tear them asunder. It came as different forces -- as Arjun's childhood friend, he had promised of betrothal, as Purvi's foster mother disapproving of the alliance and then Purvi's gratitude for her foster mother taking precedence over her love for Arjun. But Arjun's love did stand tall among all the adversities. They separated, they reunited, they separated again and then reunited against all the hopes but then the happiness was evanescent"short lived. But throughout the entire ups and downs one thing never changed -their love for each other as well as OUR love for Arvi/Ashvik. In fact it only got stronger with time and among all the distortions.

What started as a beautiful love story of two soul mates was butchered mercilessly by the CVs as Arvi's story deteriorated. At one time the hopes of their reunion almost dashed to ground. But the Arvians/Ashvikians never gave up"we persisted with vengeance, remained resilient and we got Arvi back albeit for a brief period. Kudos to all the Arvians and Ashvikians for making it possible. Thanks for remaining firm in your beliefs and making the impossible happen. How could we believe and bring ourselves to resign to the thoughts that Arvi were not made for each other???

But then the impossible had happened against the Soap Queen's will and was totally different from the normal course she had planned. So what followed??? An unprecedented vindictiveness in terms of shabbiest storyline and treatment to Arvi.. Even then Arvi remained indelible in the souls and minds of Arvians/Ashvikians.

After reading the WU of 20th March, I am sure that Arvi have still not been totally phased out of the show. But one thing is for sure that Ashvik have quit, something we Arvians/Ashvikians have wanted for a long time. But now they have really left, the feelings are bitter sweet. Rithvik and Asha have made Arvi so endearing to all of us. I am damn sure no other actors would cast the same spell as Ashvik and frankly I care a DAMN now. No Ashvik, no PR. Thank you Rithvik and Asha for being the fantabulous Arjun and Purvi. Had it not been for your portrayal of Arjun and Purvi, we would have given up on Arvi a long time back. Thanks for keeping the Arvi hope alive and illuminating ( if not as bright) throughout those deadly dark hours. Thanks for making us believe that true love does ultimately win. Thanks for making Arvians/Ashvikians survive and come out of those darkest hours sound and alive if not unscathed.

Thank you Arvi/Ashvik : for being a common string binding people from around the World into one huge Arvi/Ashvik family. Thank you Arvi/Ashvik : for being a catalyst for virtual yet beautiful friendship among people from cross-continents.

You are such wonderful pure souls and you deserve nothing but the BEST. I'm sure we shall get to see you in lots of good projects in future ( though I do not know if we shall again get to see you two on the same frame and the awesome magic you guys weave but nevertheless). We shall miss you but we shall still be happy that you can now move to greener pastures that would do justice to your acting calibers and look forward to seeing you in newer projects. Thank you in advance for letting us be a part of your wonderful journey.

We know your stint as Arvi is over but your journey as actors par excellence has just begun. So, I shall not sing the swan song yet. I would just say " Au re-voir""" See ya till we meet again"...

P.S : Thanks Huma for opening this wonderful thread. And thank you all for such wonderful, heartfelt write ups, thanks Arvinas/ Ashvikians for remaining true and loyal to Arvi/Ashvik and lastly but not the least thanks Ashvik for bringing out supine poets and writers in us...

There are days when one sits and thoughts come to them and they fell like putting pen to paper... or as it is now in our technological advanced state, fingers to a keyboard or keypad.

Where else to write than here in whats suppose to be a "Farewell to ArVi" thread.

How do we say farewell to an onscreen jodi that has brought us such joy, tears, laughter, happiness, friendships and love. Its simple, we DON'T. We will say see you later, for we will always come back to watch their 1st scene, 1st fight, 1st prayer, 1st confession of Arjun, 1st confession by Purvi, their 1st dance, 1st phone conversation, 1st nok-jhok, 1st eye-lock, 1st kiss, 1st chai, 1st tears, 1st, 2nd, 3rd separation 😉, 1st, 2nd, 3rd reunion 😳. ArVi will never really end, cause they will live on in our lives, in our hearts and in our friendships.

Like all good things, ArVi's story too must come to an end as there was no more room for growth or storyline or sensibility. So... Im happy that ArVi has and will ride off into the sunset in our minds.

When we started looking at PR, at whatever stage, be it before ArVi or with ArVi or after the intial introduction of ArVi, there is one thing that does bind us - yup, you got it - ArVi... they literally burst onto our screens and into our lives... we were engulfed with them into the unknown unknowns and figuring out the unknown and where it led them was as thrilling to them as it was to us! I think maybe even more so to US. We waited with bated breath for their next scenes, next interaction, to see where the story line would take them and us with them, for we were on this crazy ride with them all along the way.

The greatness of a jodi is so random, so uncalled for, so unknown, that "We cannot prepare against it, we cannot compete against it" (Hassan Cheema cricinfo article the bold line was taken from). Their LOVE was so unknown that we certainly had no guard against it and definitely could not fight or compete with it! It was the unknown that engulfed us and kept us tied to their web of pyaar (pyaar ki veba?)

I won't go into the story that is ArVi... for we all know it... we know how they met, fell in love, the challenges they faced, trials and tribulations they overcame, the stupid decisions they both made, the idiotic scenarios they found themselves in, the times when we disliked the choices each made at random times... we know it all... but that logic and knowing in NO way took away from our emotions. Behold! That is the power of ArVi.

So... thank you ArVi... and to you, I dont say farewell... for we don't ever say farewell to the ones we love, but simply Phir Milenge.

Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi as Arjun and Purvi will be eternal for ME!

I cannot emphasise more how these two actors were perfect for the roles given to them. I think they are perfect as actors and can pull off many, if not any role.

But to be loved by so many when their characters were being butchered and ruined is a testament to their appeal, charm, charisma, screen presence and many other attributes. They spoke with their eyes and the little touches and looks that made them special. They were amazing in the intense, emotional scenes and even in the scenes that were totally senseless and illogical we still found ourselves crying and rooting for ArVi for the actors were of such a caliber they brought out those emotions in us.

Thank you Rithvik and Asha for making our ArVi real. For loving them as much as we did and for devoting yourself to such a crappy script coming to the end, just so that we can love them all the way.

Thank you... and you will be missed as Arjun and Purvi.

ArVi... a love that engulfed us like facing the unknown unknowns. One we could not prepare for, fight against or compete with... Off to the sunset you go!

I can honestly say that this will remain to be one of the most beautiful journeys of my life forever. No matter how old I get, I will always have a special place in my heart for ArVi/AshVik, they just mean to much for me. These two have had such a huge impact on me and always will, I will always and forever be an ArVian and an AshVikian, that's two things that are never, even going to change!

Today is a day that we all have waited for since it was announced that a last scene would air. We would all wait for updates everyday on if the scene aired or not, and I personally got so used to coming on IF everyday and there being nothing, that today when I even saw the news that the scene had aired, a little tear dropped down my cheek, cause I guess I'm still having a hard time letting it sink in that ArVi just had their last scene. But I think I can very safely say that ArVi will never be "over" for me, their magic will always live on.

And as far as AshVik goes, I can't wait to see those two amazing people become even bigger stars than they are now. I can already see them walking the red carpet, winning Best Actor and Actress and being happy together forever!

I also met some of my greatest friends through ArVi/AshVik, you all on our ArVi/AshVik family! Love you all so much and it makes me super proud to see all that has been achieved throughout this journey!

Long live ArVi and long live AshVik!

Hmm so finally we got the one last scene of Arvi today. I remember the day when ArVi first met each other and from that scene I could see sparks flying between them, and I couldn't wait until they fall in love with each other. Loved all the tits and tats between them during the office days. The first scene that really made me fall in love with them even more was the mandhir scene where for the first time they kept on staring at each other lovingly uff. I remember the days where I couldn't wait to see pr because just to watch Arvi scenes.

They were the first couple I got addicted to and just could see them over and over again without getting bored. I have watched all of their scenes probably hundred times already. When ArVi got married to other people, I was very upset, I felt that ArVi were a major part of my life and without them watching pr is useless. And when ArVi were reunited I probably was the happiest person ever!

I am sad that the story-line of ArVi was severely butchered. But no matter how much we bash the CVs and Ekta, I would be thankful to them for picking Asha and Rithvik to play the characters of Purvi and Arjun. Because of Ashvik the chemistry and passion in the characters of Purvi and Arjun were there. I am very happy that ArVi are appreciated worldwide and have soo many fans.

I would like to wish Ashvik the best for their future endeavors and will keep on supporting them in their journey.

Oops!! Super late:(

ARJUN AND PURVI

My liking for them started when I saw one of their first scenes, which was Arjun's confession. I remember when Purvi pulls Arjun on the opposite of her house, under the stairs and him trying to talk to her but she talking non-stop and I was like, "tell her you idiot, tell her that you love her!" Hehe. Well my reaction was actually because of watching too many Ekta shows to know that he won't be able to tell her! But surprise surprise! That was the one scene that I even remember my reaction clearly and he does! He tells her how much she means to him! And I was like, "Yayyy!!! He tells her!!"

After that I go on to a spree of watching all the ArVi scenes on YT! I had to know what happens next after her refusal! I came on to the forum to see what had happened. And I see that Purvi too confesses. I rushed to watch all their scenes and Purvi's confessions. Hence, some of my favourite scenes are: Arjun's confession, Purvi's confession and the whole part where they are at home and Arjun calls up Purvi and talks to her, her message; "geele kapre badal do warna thand lag jayegi", "do not disturb" and "you are crazy Purvi." My all time favourite scenes such that I even remember the dialogues!

Mentioning my favourite scenes, how can I forget the mandir scene and the first ever Dil Kyun Yeh Mera Shor Kare?! Everything was perfect in the scene! The song, their matching clothes, her hold on him, his look in his eyes, her confused look, the confusion, the intensity, the passion, the attraction (Purvi's first time to get attracted to him and Arjun's second).I know many will wonder but it is the first time they got attracted to each other. But I don't think so. Having watched their scenes quite a few times, I can say that Arjun was attracted to her before! In the episode where she has just come to the office all wet due to the rain and he lowers the temperature of the AC and calls her in, while he talks to her, he notices her, her hair, the water droplets on them and there is the first time he loses track of what he is saying! Arjun's first scene of getting attracted to her in my opinion.

The mandir scene was what made me like them more! The intensity in the scene was so much and so high that I fell in love with the couple and started watching their scenes on YT through my phone! But it is an Ekta Kapoor show and of course she has to ruin it! The separation, her broken trust, his confusion and grief over the love of his life not trusting him. How he manages to win her back only to lose her again and that too because of her!

I think 2012 was the BSET time for ArVi! All those beautiful scenes, Shirt da Button, Chori Chori, Raabta (the dreams of their future), Aaahatein (even if it was sad) and of course every ArVians favourite Dil Kyun Yeh Mera Shor Kare! I always used to like this song (DKYMSK), but now (ever since ArVi) whenever I hear it, I see and imagine ArVi! It is like PERFECT for them!

As much as I loved their nice cute scenes, their office fights, their rain scenes, their chawl scenes, I also loved their scenes in May-June 2012. Their first separation! The only reason is because of the intensity and passion in those scenes! He loved her while she thought he played with her feelings, the arguments and the pleadings for trust! Everything was just so intense! The emotions were high, the love was true, the desire to be together! Everything was just perfect! That perhaps made them fall for each other more!

I also liked their scenes in 2013 when Purvi starts working at his office and the hospital one (DK is in the hospital). The hospital one always brings tears to my eyes especially where he tells her how alone he is! How his mum left, then she did and now he does not want to lose his dad! I must say I loved Arjun's scenes with DK! DK was an amazing father who always supported his son and tried rectifying his mistakes. Likewise I loved Archana's scenes with Purvi. Their bonding was really good!

The scenes after their marriage where he brings her tea, sawar loon, dilliwali girlfriend, peedit pati, her pregnancy, their first fight, when she is going for Sachin's wedding ceremony and how he convinces her that he will drop her, tum hi ho, the sari scene and so many others! All those hugs, forehead kisses, those small gestures that they are there for each other! And of course ArViRi scenes! Those were a treat! The separation was senseless and all, but their confrontation after that was powerful! It was of course due to Asha and Rithvik and HATS OFF to them! It was one of my favourite scenes! And finally tum hi ho dance, the hug after the 20 years and finally when she comes to know the entire truth! Their last scene was really good as well, purely because of AshVik!

Till date, whenever I watch ArVi scenes, they make my heart skip a beat! ALWAYS! More so because of the intensity, the look, the expressions and the LOVE!!! It was and is a treat watching them together! And when Asha and Rithvik declared that they were a couple (although many guessed from before) was one of the happiest times! I remember reading a post on the forum (sorry I do not know who said it, but the entire credit goes to that person) that in all shows the fans wish for the onscreen couple to be a couple in real life whereas with AshVikians, we wish ArVi to be together!

Ending my post with tears in my eyes! It has been a long journey with more downs than ups! It was actually Asha Negi and Rithvik Dhanjani who made me fall in love with ArVi more because during the 6 month leap their interviews were a treat to watch! Not only that but they made alright scenes with blah dialogues look amazing, romantic and intense filled with emotions and LOVE! LOVE! The one thing I will love in Arvi! Their love for each other! HATS OFF and APPLAUDS to Asha and Rithvik for playing the characters of Arjun and Purvi to such perfection, for breathing life in to them, such that when they laughed, I laughed, I laughed! When they cried, I cried! Seeing their smiles made me smile! And oh those loving gazes, those hugs and forehead kisses! Thanks to ArVi and AshVik, I met' so many good friends! A big hug to all of you guys! Thank you ever so much for your support, help, encouragement and of course welcoming me in to the ArVi and AshVik family! Thank you AshVik and AshVikans!

Edit.

P.S: Completely forgot to mention Ashna and Arjun's scene! One of my most favourite scenes which left me wishing for more! I really wish they had shown more scenes of Arjun and Ashna!

okay so i can see that i am superlate here , sorry for that, i was busy. i wanted to write some beautiful stuffs for arvi but i am not that much good as my other arvians, so i will just share my experience to become an arvian 😳
it happened long back at the end of december 2011, when i saw jeh(rithvik dhanjani) is sitting with ekta and other people whom i didnt knew , i could only identifiy ankita , ekta , hiten and rithvik. when i saw the news properly, they told that these people including rithvik are gonna be the new generation characters n pr. although i didnt watched pavitra rishta , i felt that OMG rithvik in a saas bahu drama😲 , i used to watch him because i was a die hard pkyek fan at that time.

after that i didnt even bother to look at pavitra rishta, as it didnt interested me at all🥱 , the first scene i saw was arjun and ovi🤢 they were talking something and i dont know what it was. my first reaction was, is this the new lead pair😕 uuummm... i didnt liked it at all, i moved forward.

after few days i watched an ashvik interview by luck, that was i suppose to be their first interview together, i dont know why but suddenly it caught my eyes and somewhere it touched my heart. at the end of the interview , the reporter said that they are gonna fall in love as they are juniour archana manav. i dont know why but suddenly it made me happy.

even after all this i didnt watched the show properly, i used to watch it in bits sometimes. slowly slowly i started taking time to watch that show and i started liking them but the main point from where i have started watching the show properly was when arjun got shot . please dont throw eggs on me , but it really excites me that when one partner gets hurt , how does the other partner take care of the former. i really started liking it.

then i found about this forum and started looking for the updates here. i searched for almost all of their scenes and watched them and even searched for the story till that time. i was happy and surprised both at the same time , that even though its ekta mata's serial but it still had such strong characters who can fight for their love👏

but i didnt knew that my happiness was short lived😭 within one month that idiotic deal marrriage took place, i didnt even watched that episode . after sometime i again started watching the show in the hope that purvi's pregnancy will be revealed and arvi will be back , but nothing of that sort happened.

day by day arvi started becoming weak and it made me feel low. but the biggest shock came to me with thehorrible double pregnancy track and arvi living in a compromise marriage. i felt like puking on my screen or on ekta kapoor for showing such non sense. from decemer 2012 to march 2013 , i completely ignored the show as the things were getting out of tolerence level, i didnt even let my mom to switch on the tv on that time.

after that from april or rather i should say when baby pari's truth was revealed from that time slowly slowly i started watching the show, then from may 2013 i started watching the show in full form, because somewhere down my heart i felt that love will definately overtake compromise, i was ready to wait for few months also to watch my arvi reunion😳

times flew by and my hopes went up for arvi reunion. the leap ficaso was bothering me but still i had a strong faith that my arvi will reunite . finally the day came and our prayers were listened.😊
our arvi got married , although i wanted that they should have shown a proper wedding but it didnt happened.😔 my dream of seeing arvi getting married and behaving like married couple was fulfilled.

my favorite scenes were of arjun purvi, arjun purvi soham, purvi soham , arjun soham, arjun purvi pari, arjun pari, dk arjun . dk arjun purvi pari, dk purvi, arjun ashna.

picking up a favorite scene of arvi is like picking up the favorite droplet of water out of ocean. but still if i had to choose , i will definately choose arvi suhaag raat scenes and when they woke up together next morning☺️☺️, it is considered as one of the classic and bold love making scene in indian television. i remember i made my mom busy at that time so that she cannot watch , i watched the 4 repeat telecasts of it next day😳

the most beautiful surprise came when purvi's second pregnancy was announced and arvi were so happy. i was extremely happy and felt that somebody in my house got pegnant😆😆 .

but every thing stopped when again an forced awful twist was shown and illogically arvi was seperated, from that day i permanently stopped watching the show.😡 then the unwanted leap of 20 years came(atleast it was unwanted for me and all arvians), i only used to read the updates and if arvi were shown i used to watch it in the repeats only. but somewhere it was the arvi magic which sticked me to this awful show like many other people.

but now everything is finished, arvi has ended...😭😭 but wait a minute arvi cannot end , they will never go away from us. true love never ends... arvi will be alive in our hearts.

if i had to describe arvi , then i would say ; "arvi's love is like sun , the clouds can hide them but can destroy it. arvi's love is like stars, even though moon doesnt shines everyday but they will twinkle everyday. arvi's love is like two colours when they are mixed together, they cannot be seperated.
LOVE WAS, IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE THEIR LIFE."

arvi we miss you . for lakhs of people you were the beginning and you are the end of the show.

finally a big grand salute, standing ovation and "saastham dandvath pranam" to my babies ashvik, you have put the soul in this characters and made them look real. thank you so much.😃
