Farewell thread - AshVik as ArVi

Arjun and Purvi- a love story transcending pain, hurt, grief, separation and finally reaching its destination. Theirs was a story we thought to be clich, the usual rich guy meets a middle class girl and they fall in love and a happily ever after. But it wasn't the case here, they were meant to be similar yet different from what the idiot box offered.

Arjun the ever so khadoos and grumpy boss, with a heart of gold. His was a character that marked a full length journey, be it a caring friend or the passionate lover boy, from the perfect business tycoon to a normal guy with emotions, from being a doting parent to being a deprived father, from a loving husband to being a lonely soul. Each trait of his character made us love him

Now coming to Purvi or the tigress as she is known. She was a beautiful young energetic girl who held the baggage of being grateful to her aai who adopted her. She was naive and emotional who sacrificed her precious possession just for the sake of her mother. Covering a wide gap of from being a 20 year old to a 40 year old, her character showed amazing growth and portrayed each and every emotion with ease.

These two characters that are loved by the audience so much were written to be together.

The journey of Arjun and Purvi had a rocky start with both hating the sight of other. Two people with so much similarity yet opposite to each other. The sweet and fierce nok-jhok was what made them tolerate each other; it was their dislike for each other that got them closer.

The phase of attraction started with a beautifully shot Dil kyun yeh mera song sequence, pictured in a Shiv mandir. It was a beautiful start to something that was going to last forever- a start to their love. A blessing on them, to be there for each other, physically, mentally and emotionally. The song went on to become wholly exclusively and solely for ArVi.

After attraction came tolerance, both started to stand each other's existence and started to respect each other. The seed of jealousy was sown in that phase when Purvi was supposed to be engaged, and with the breaking of engagement for the first time did Arjun and Purvi's understanding for each other was seen. Arjun caring for our wounded tigress, wiping her tears off and giving her the hope that everything will be fine. A promise he kept forever.

That was not just it, misunderstanding crept in their relation which made Arjun realise his love for Purvi. A scene that can never be forgotten, Arjun weeping like a lonely guy and speaking with his mother Ashna; it was the best scene ever and Rithvik portrayed it with perfection.

He proposed, she rejected; defeated he decided to return back to Canada. As they say "if the person you love was ever yours, they will return to you" and it happened with Arjun, his Purvi returned to him. A confession that has to be the best ever seen or ever experienced. Arjun prompting purvi to speak with his "hmm" and Purvi in her shyness confessing her love "mein bhi tumse pyaar karti hu". Rain showering blessings on them and the universe a witness to their love.

After this, it was not a future they wished for. Facing betrayal by Arjun or so she thought, ArVi separated but that was not an end to their saga. It was meant to be them and only them, Arjun confessed his love loud enough for others to hear. And we got a second confession of our beloved ArVi.

Facing challenges and overcoming all hurdles, their life took yet another turn when a marriage they desired remained just a dream. Life moved on but at the cost of ArVi's love that was yet to be born.

Every step they took it reminded them of their love as even though they were separated they were united by body and soul.

Time stood still as their eyes locked again but this time with different life partners. But that was their story no one else was supposed to be there. And true to that, destiny bought them together and the reason for which Purvi had left the town became the sole reason to unite them. Their Pari- their symbol of love.

And finally after the long wait, the two souls became one yet again. Attached by the sacred bond of marriage, as the fans enjoyed their union.

And that was not it, the beautiful journey was yet again left incomplete in the name of twist and they parted ways only to meet after a long 20 years.

They met once again, entangled in web of misunderstanding and death following Arjun. Yet all he thought was Purvi, protect her and love her till his last breath.

Truth dawned upon Purvi as she realised that her soul was being taken away from her, as she realised that her sole reason of living was under death's shadow.

This was the tale of ArVi which was given life by Rithvik Asha. Had it not been for AshVik then ArVi would have been left to being just characters.

A big thanks to Rithvik and Asha for playing Arjun and Purvi and giving us a story that we will cherish forever. ❤️

Farewell AshVik as ArVi - January 9 2012 to March 19 2014

Thank U so much Huma for open this thread. Also Thank U Eshu made for another beautiful banner. I know both Asha & Rithvik now hell busy at Guyana but when they free then If Asha & Rithvik read this thread they are surely happy.

Honestly told that I not like hindi serial previously. If I saw any serial then watch Kolkata Doordarshan, ETV Bangla serial. After all I am from Bangladesh. May be 2006 when I channel change then I saw a serial that story is like me. Main reason that time Zee tv saw any their program with subtitle. I not able to read talk & not understand hindi language. Honestly say still I not know, read properly. But when they saw subtitle easily I catch any hindi program. That serial name is Kasham Se. Ram kapoor play Ram walia & Bani Walia character is playing by Praach Desai. Her acting interested to me saw that serial. That time I also saw Saat Phere & others. After that I saw many serial. Only for interest Subtitle.

When start PR very first episode I saw. But that was my time pass. But after 18 years leap I suddenly interest too much. That leap start for showing 1 beautiful girl. That girl is no other then our Purvi. Her introducing part so cute & natural then I am suddenly attached this girl. After some days I saw 1 guy. He was no other then our Arjun. Both characters is really interesting mean Khadoos Boss Arjun & Tigress Purvi. That track was very interesting. This craziness starts when Arjun coming in India then also like him. Their fight was quite interesting. Don't know why I like their fight too much. After that was an amazing history.

OMG there that Mandir scene when play Dil Kyun Yeh Mera Shor Kore that eye lock OMG. Still I am not able to forget. After that day I am official fan of them. Later many cute scenes we get.

Many ARVI scene i we get. What is the best this is questionable. Today I get some beautiful moment of ARVI that r edit made some fan. Don't klnow who made this but thanks aton. Also We get many ARVI/ASHVIK, EDIT, VM.

ARVI is just fictional character but their acting mean Asha Negi & Rithvik Dhanjani's amazing chemistry is too much related that I feel they are very much nearest person. If they happy my mood happy, if they pain I also feel pain. When Arjun was to married ovi that week is my one of worst moment in my life. Honestly say that full 1 week need to recover that shock. This ARVI so much related me don't know why when I know any good news I feel very happy. When bad news my mood totally spoiling.

After that I am waiting for when Arjun and Purvi again united. I join later this forum, also join some page. Slowly slowly I get many information of them, also find same minded friend. Till date I get many friends. Not only this many of them are me consider their Brother. I am really lucky that I get many International sisters for ARVI/ASHVIK😆. Thank U ARVI/ASHVIK

Another thing if I not mention then this is incomplete. Rithvik when mention me Bhai that is one of the most biggest compliment ARVI/ASHVIK Fandom.

After 11 months wait ARVI was reunited. We are enjoy very much. Get some happy mpment.

But later leap sake again they separate & start new torture. But at last now ARVI UNITED FOREVER.

Again thank U Rithvik Dhanjani & Asha Negi to very well acting Arjun & Purvi character. No one able to play ARVI role except ASHVIK.

I don't know how much time will be active this forum or FB but my always Prayer & wish to ASHVIK. What will be they do I have no idea. Whatever they do Fiction, Non Fiction, Anchor I am sure they will be justice their image, talent. Also They will be get more success, Awards.

ARVI Story end mean not end ASHVIK journey also end. Their new chapter will be start.

They are such humble people and most importantly professional, that its obvious they are going to go place and touch the highest peaks of success. They deserve this.
