Director Waseem Sabir, associated with shows like Ek Veer Ki Ardaas - Veera, Maryaada Lekin Kab Tak? and Phir Subah Hogi, believes the TV industry is unable to go beyond a particular zone as housewives dominate the pan-Indian audience that watches the shows.

"The audience is more interested in watching housewife sagas. We love seeing planning and plotting, and the truth remains that we don't enjoy other's happiness," Sabir said.

this time i gave this article 3 points!!! director of phir subah hogi, i want to tell u that phir subah hogi could be a great success and the result of weak writers who did not know how to write a story can not blame us the audience for not watching the show... it was worthless when the story got ruined !! 2nd.. shows Like .. Ek boond ishq / agle janam mohe bitiya hi kijo who were not sas bahu stories could run and be great ... why not psh ??? its the lack of good writing / changing according the stars / actors leaving / making the worst jodi ever - adini ... well at least in the end.. it had good ending but still if it had good normal writers, that show would have run today too !!

That is the dumbest comment I ever heard... All of us here wanted to See Sugni and the other women better themselves. We did not ask for them to turn her into a typical TV BAHU but if I remember the idea some of us came up with was to show her joining forces with vickram to empower the other bedni's ...
BTW as ron pointed out he was he the same man who said people not watching the show because of the cold wheather??? LOL

director of phir subah hogi - i think its time to admit, the story started very well we loved it, then i wonder what happened why the writers got changed and new writers massed the story and ruined it to the core... Last month of the show was great again but sadly too late !!
2nd.. in the show there was sas bahu sagas and it turned to be boring and dont say no plots or no planning ... psh had worst turn points that too the show down the hill !! any ways better luck next time
learn to work on a subject and not change it for the hunger of TRPS make one character suffer **why** and all others to be called the so called good people while they were no different from the villains !!
one was suffering and was called the villain / other villains went away without any punishment / sugni never admit she did wrong !!! the list is long !! sadly poor writing ruined a great story !!!
