i think ravi Shastri wud be a good coach..............very shrewd,intelligent n knows how to deal with Indian team n BCCI n all the inside politics.........

I think Viv Richards would be a very awesome choice, since he is a role model and an inspiration to many in the team. And he is also admitted that he has done a lot of motivational work so he can help our boys to get mentally tough. I just dont think a desi coach is a good idea right know because there is too much politics from our side and a desi guy can get hung up and pulled to take sides. I dont think anyone would mess with Viv Richards, they should seriously consider him.

I would also want an Indian coach but I think BCCI wants an foreign coach. Then I think they should go after John Wright. I think he might agree since we are hearing reports that Pakistan has talked to him and heard good news. I think it would be wrong for India to go after a another coach, who knows it could be another Greg Chappell. So for foreign coach best choice out there is John Wright. If not him then the next best choic would be Dev Whatmore coach of Begladesh....

Coach of homeland is much better to understand players...
