Big names gave a miss, yet Colors party was a rocking affair
They partied and how!!! We tell you, folks at Colors work hard and party harder. A wonderful and talented bunch of people, led by Raj Nayak, called in their friends and well wishers from the fraternity to celebrate their success last Saturday at a suave and sexy bash at a suburban five star hotel.
The who's who of the television, media and advertising industry were spotted being ecstatic in revelry. Few of the popular celebs who walked the red carpet were Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Anil Kapoor, Madhur Bhandarkar, Anupam Kher, Kirron Kher, Madhuri Dixit, Mugdha Godse, Ayushmann Khurana, Pooja Bedi, Jacqueline Fernandes, Gulshan Grover, Tisca Chopra, Armaan Kohli, Tanisha Mukherjee, Imam Siddiquie, Pratyusha Banerjee, Kamya Punjabi among hordes of others.
Everyone looked happy and danced in glory with a glass of champagne in hand.
But we were rather surprised to see that the so called big faces of the channel gave the party a miss. And the list is long... Vivian Dsena, Ashish Sharma, Sanaya Irani, Drashti Dhami, Preetika Rao, Karan Johar and the Salman Khan'.
Yes, they were nowhere to be seen in the bash, much to the media's disappointment who waited in futile to take their interviews.
So why were they missing ? Is there a larger picture to the story?
Hold on to your horses for a channel spokesperson cleared the air: "Ashish, Sanaya and Drashti were busy shooting. Plus they had an early morning call time the next day. Preetika and Salman were down with fever while, Vivian and Karan were travelling."
Ahh...now you know the reason. But it's their loss. The party was amazing and here are few highpoints from the bash.
First, lovebirds Armaan and Tanishaa walking hand in hand, enjoying and looking so in love in the party. Second, the crowd going bonkers to get a dekho of SRK. Third, Imam Siddique wearing a band baja baarat costume and yet looking all confident talking to everyone (only he can do that). And finally, all heads turned when the MD of the Times of India group, Vineet Jain posed with all his Femina girls (contestants). He is one lucky man, we say (wink)!
