"Geetu..." maan called her stressing each word thinking deeply.
"One village and there is one girl" said maan grinning at geet with excited tone.
Dadi muffled her laugh for his starting phrase.
"Geetu ladki ki nam" said maan after brief pause. "They met and became friends" completed with big grin.
When geet didn't given reply to him maan glanced at her and saw her sleeping sound fully. Maan hugged his friend tightly feeling so happy for meeting her in no time slept peacefully due to tiredness of journey.
"meri thufan Geetu ab uto beta" said laks trying to wake her up as clock striking to 9 am. "Lakshmi let me sleep don't disturb me" said dadi lazily sleeping on bed covering her face with duvet. Laks nodded her head in disbelief and said "Maa you also wake up now". Laks chuckled for dadi maa cribbing, dadi maa is early raiser of KM but today she is also sleeping like kid she know the reason well.
"Geetu uto baba maa ki pass chalthe hai hum" said laks kissing geet's chubby cheeks placing her long strand of hair away. Geet stirred from her sleep slightly with laks nonstop cribbing. She smiled still closing her eyes rubbing her eyes with her tiny palms. Next second Geet faced other side feeling still sleepy laks smiled at her annoying expressions.
"Geetu now wake up spoiling my sleep you are sleeping so peacefully haa" complained maan who is up to now sitting edge of bed quietly. Laks glanced at maan's direction he is looking so irritated leaving geet arms took maan in her lap "what happen what she did now?" questioned laks muffling his messy hair.
"Maa you know na she is crying whole night" cribbed maan indicating about last night.
Laks sighed smiling at his cute pout "I told you maan she is kid cont be able to sleep without her mumma" explained laks maan also nodded his head in agreement.
"Per ye tho real thufan hai uff" dadi added up with maan sitting on bed with lazy eyes.
Laks laughed at dadi and maan thinking about last night adventure.
After maan slept dadi covered both with duvet she also drifted in to sleep within seconds. Past mid night she jerked opened her eyes to witness maan trying to monify crying geet.
"Geetu ro mat dekho dadi haina yaha so javo na" said maan wiping her every tear away from her cheeks. "Chup bilkul chup" said maan placing his tiny finger on geet lips after brief pause mimicking his late darji's words. Geet instantly stopped her crying secession said with meek sobs "Maa chahiye maanu" melting maan's heart.
Dadi smiled at both kids warmly "Dekho ji ye aap ki exact Xerox copy hai" murmured dadi looking at roof remembering her hubby dominating attitude.
"Maan ise nahi karthe let me handle her" said dadi taking geet her arms. Geet kept her head on dadi's heart hugging her tight. With so much difficulty dadi makes her sleep again. Maan also slept again as he is feeling very sleepy. Within two or three hour's maan again opened his eyes to watch his mom dad also helping dadi to make her sleep.
Laks got disturbed with amar voice "Oh thufan is still sleeping huh" said amar sitting beside geet taking duvet away from her face. Geet chuckled slightly cupped her face again "Oh Milky is in masthi mood today" commented laks while folding bed sheets one by one.
Maan sat beside geet on his knees taking bed sheet away from her shouted loudly grinning "Baww geetu" . Geet also laughed along with him filling whole room with her baby laugh.
"Wow what a start of day keep them happy like this always" prayed dadi climbing down from the bed.
"Geet this brush is new one which I have given now right" questioned laks keenly observing tooth brush. Geet nodded her head then got busy with her play along with maan.
"Lakshmi why you are checking this like this is some alien" asked dadi looking laks giving more importance to brush. "Kuch nahi maa see this it's looking like used by someone from more days" answered laks giving foolish grin. For herself also it is looking so foolish for giving importance to brush but brush state confusing her.
"Maa I will tell you" answered maan winking at geet grabbing attention of both ladies.
"maa you know she ate whole paste then started eating brush crushing it between her teeth's. Wo brush nahi kiya sirf us ke sath play kiya haina geetu" revealed maan what's going behind elders. Laks is shocked at first when she got what must be happen laughed at geet giving naughty look. Geet pouted her lips for complaining against her maan loves teasing his geetu.
"Geet its bad habit don't do like that again ok" chided dadi trying to put some brains in geet. Geet face fell down instantly for this maan came for her rescue.
"Dadi mat dato geetu ko I will give more brushes to her if she spoiled one" said maan possessively. "You and your possessiveness you will spoil her if it goes like this" commented dadi rolling her eyes at maan's hyper possessiveness.
"Maan and geet have some breakfast and get ready we will go to temple today" announced amar coming in to the hall. Like obedient kids both did what he said.
"Rano ji she will come soon don't worry ok" assured mohinder looking at rano who is now and then looking at door while serving breakfast.
"aap nahi samajogi maa hu mai uski" said rano meekly which is only audible to him.
"Amar told to me they are going for temple first then they will come here so don't get tensed. Your daughter is fine there" informed mohinder about amar's call to him.
"You didn't informed they are coming today here" asked darji who is about to left from there. "Ji papa they will come today taking geet" answered mohinder.
"Ok I am waiting for them only first for function but now for school funds also. Teacher is putting more interest in this if we will meet khurana's they will also give some funds it will help for school" said darji about his plan.
Mohinder felt happy as his father is taking interest in it but for darji his plan is he can escape from this unnecessary funds fuss if he involves Khurana's.
"I hope this will work who will do this much for village. Already my father did lots of samaj seva its enough for them. Now my only target is attracting other villagers so that I can get ticket for future elections." Thought darji thinking about his future plans.
"Geet don't run like that you will fell down listen to me" shouted laks running behind geet and maan. Geet and maan running whole hall of temple freely giving deaf ears to elders. "Yeah caught you" said amar locking both in his arms from behind.
"Wow geet I for get to tell you in this dress you are looking to pretty" complimented amar checking her dress from top to bottom. "Why not selection is by junior khurana" informed walking along with dadi maa carrying things needed for pooja.
"Yes papa see she is looking like small queen right" asked maan hoping to get yes as answer. Amar observed all things she is wearing her bangles, ear rings, waist chain, small chain around her tiny neck, her payal. She is wearing all things a queen wears which were small small as per her age.

"Haww chho cute maanu your selection is really superb" complimented amar kissing both cheeks tightly.
"I thought to give her this dress on Kuldevata pooja day but she don't have any clothes right so I makes her wear all those today only" said laks feeling sad as her plan is not worked.
"Don't worry beta when I am here then why to fear I will make your wish to come true" said dadi winking at laks. Laks raised her eyes brows asking for what but dadi didn't answer her back. Laks know something is cooking in her mind "you are thinking only you are intelligent i too brought dress for geet" thought dadi doing small dance in her heart.
"Namasthe ji kise ho sab" greeted pandit when they all stepped in to the main temple.
"Ji namasthe we all are fine and I hope all is well here I am sending funds every year I appreciate if you guys using them properly" answered amar in his bossy tone.
"Don't act like that amar babu you know me well then why to mask this Amar khurana attitude" said pandit who knows Khurana's well from years. One by one all taken blessings from pandit except geet who is busy in carrying her big lehenga.
Laks came front to make her take blessing from pandit but maan came beside geet before she reached there. "Geetu come take blessings first" said maan taking her hand in his guiding her to do the task.
"Stay blessed all ways together like this forever" blessed pandit ji while his helper rang the temple bell after completing pooja on the name of Maaneet. "Maa why in the name of maan and geet" questioned amar not getting why dadi did pooja on their name.
"Beta we are here because of them and see she is looking like Khurana's little queen in that dress so I wants god blessings on both. BTW I want one more thing I want to take away evil eyes from both of them also. "Answered dadi looking admiringly at maaneet.
Villagers presented their admired both kids few eyes burned with jealous looking geet with them. As per pandit ji orders maan and geet did pooja with the help of laks. After spending some time they headed to handa haveli.
"Geetu look school you are studying here right" asked maan pointing school on their way to handa mansion.
Geet didn't get what he is asking her but looking at school she got excited "Maanu kool geetu bhi" chirped geet trying to say she wants to go school along with him. Maan laughed for her spell "Kool". Amar gave disapproving look to dadi maa looking at school condition. School looking like some barren house with unwanted plants hanging on edge of walls and also fully covered with dust. "Ohh they are studying at outside only" said laks with un believable look.
"Maa ones you said we are sending funds for school renovation but look at this" questioned laks remembering when she is checking files of home accounts she got to know about that.
"Yes beta me also wondering the same temple is at good condition but school we should teach good lesson for them" replied dadi calmly keeping note to give some good lesson to those.
"Driver stop here I want to visit school ones" ordered Amar driver obeyed his orders.
As the car stopped in front of school villagers who are presented gathered there. Teachers who are teaching students outside also came out to welcome them.
"Sir who is he you yourself going to welcome him" questioned one of new teacher to HM. "Just be quite this school belongs to them only after that gov hand over this" informed HM to his mate.
"No need of any formalities just tell me what the hell going on here" blasted amar on HM stopping him from placing varamala on his neck. "Sir come inside first then we will have talk" offered HM watching every one looking at them only as they are outside of Scholl gate.
Pushing varamala away amar followed HM inside followed by dadimaa. Laks stayed with maaneet glanced at car but they were not there. She looked here and there got there view at entrance of school with hand in hand. Varamala is in maan's hands "Geetu wait here" said maan ran inside school. Taking sindhoor from one of statue maan came back in no time.
"Maan what you are doing" questioned paddled up to their reach. "Maa papa pushed this away and it came in to my hands so I am using this" answered maan grinning at her.
Maan put sindhoor on geet's head then did aarathi as some lady teacher left that there following HM. Laks observed his every action whatever it is she didn't stopped maan grabbing cam from car started clicking there pics.
Placing varamala on geet at last maan grabbed geet hand who willingly followed his lead grinning at him thinking this is some play. First maan stepped in to the school then made geet stepped inside by climbing steps one by one. Laks didn't missed single expression of both maaneet smiled at their innocence. "Maanu babhut achi hai khel" said geet grinning at maan after they stood in front of saraswathi statue.
"Maa why this school is looking so dusty?" questioned maan looking at whole school.
"Maan first tell me why you did all these" asked laks pointing at varamala in geet's neck trying to know the motive of his act.
"Maa maine apni school mai dekha ek ladki school join kiya peheli bar tab isehi welcome kiya un ko apni maa. Maine socha ki I came first time with geetu na so I welcomed her" said maan giving his cheeky smile to laks.
Before she could voice out how cute he is looking vidya came there hugged maan and geet tightly. Laks startled with her sudden entry assured maaneet who are looking at her with startled expressions.
"Maan you know what a big thing you did today" asked Vidya with choked voice feeling very emotional at that point of time. She all ways thought to give good education to this innocent princess geet. She felt after watching geet she will get good future if she can study but all plans failed miserably. She is witnessing maaneet from time maan started doing aarathi but out of curiosity stayed aside admiring both of them. When maan makes geet stepped inside the school she felt her wish got some new hope.
"Ji what happen why you are saying like that" asked laks placing comforting hand on vidya's shoulder. "Ji I am sorry but its true what maan did today is big step for geet's life" answered vidya getting hold of her emotions. Laks didn't get her words so enquired "what you are saying".
"Ji this is first time geet stepped in to school and only because of your family especially maan she came here. The thing I am trying to do from a month maan did that" said Vidya with pride smile looking at maan who is busy in placing geet's duppata in place.
For a minute laks is so shocked but as she remember Madhurai incident where darji almost raised his hand on rano she gets what life geet is leading. Laks also glanced at maan his one innocent act turned out in to such a big step.
"Geetu close your eyes I will see that" ordered maan as geet is rubbing her eyes for every second because of sindhoor. Geet closed her both eyes like good girl then opened her one eye irritating maan.
"Geetu" called out maan with stern voice for her play. He don't know what he did today in his innocence. He is only trying to copy act he saw in school but at end this became golden step for his geetu un known to him.
"I really hope they will be happy like this together forever" prayed vidya looking at shining son in the sky.
In all these they failed to notice another two souls who stood there watching maaneet with moitsed eyes. It's none other than rano and mohinder stood there with loss words to explain anything.
Rano is not at all a peace she is cribbing to mohinder to take her to geet. Without any option he agreed for her wish when they are crossing school they saw Khurana's taking halt at school. Hearing Amar high voice they felt it is there official matter it took them few minutes to reach up to Maan's car. The moment they stepped out they saw maan doing all those with perfection. Every day they are struggling to bring geet here but today there wish came true. The reason is maan only both blessed maan with their heart wished for there gudia happiness as well.
Laks is fully busy in maaneet to notice them but Vidya saw them. "Mamma papa" shouted geet breaking both of her patents trance. Maan let her go to her parents as he know she is missing her maa from night. With high difficulty geet reached her parents keeping bunch of her lehenga in her fist smiling big.
"Gudia" whispered rano hugging her close to her heart Mohinder also hugged both of them leaving his inhibitions not bothering about anyone.
