Friends, today's episode has confused me again because in parts it looks like Dev is having geuine memory loss, or maybe just terrific acting as it if is so?
Quick update:
When Dev/Raju does not know where to find the fire alarm switch Paua covers up that his hand is hurt so he cannot use that hand! Karan apologises and switches off the alarm but Ameesha is suspicious.
At 5 am next morning Dev/Raju calls Kajjal at her house asking how to use the hotwater tap in the bathroom! He also asks Kajal to come fast to the Singh house as the two villains Ameesha/Karan are acting suspicious. Kajal is scared.
At breakfast Dev/Raju is making all mistakes - first he drinks all the milk in front of the others when he used to hate milk before. NT is shocked but Paua covers up that doctor has asked him to drink milk to get better. Then Dev doesn't know how to eat cornflakes, so he says he has to go urgently to the loo and hides and watches NT teaching Paua ... and then comes back and says whatever NT wants to feed him he will love! Meanwhile Karan/Ameesha are terribly suspicious. Kajal also arrives, when Panna Chachi says Dev should now see a better doctor in the city. Kajal and Dev are terrified!
NT summons the doctor and Kajal is terrified that he wants to see Dev who has no injury. When she goes up to call Dev she finds he has deliberately broken his hand! She is touched by this and thanks him for such unselfishness for her plan. He says he can do anything for money, and she is upset!
The doctor confirms he has a fracture, Further they also tell the doctor Dev can't sleep at night due to nightmatres from his trauma, and doctor recommends someone stay near him. Dev says he wants Kajal near him, so NT asks Kajal to come and stay in the house for while! Kajal gives him a strange look, as he gives her a flirty look!
Ameesha is sharing her suspicions with Karan. He also agrees Dev is very strange and he may be a humshakal. Ameesha says they can find out more about him if they catch this Paua. Karan says "You know well how to handle this kid, go ahead!"
Ameesha calls Paua and bribes him with a chocolate and enquires where he lives? He says he is an orphan and give some long-winded route to his house in Viraar.
Meanwhile in his room Dev/Raju starts shouting as if he had some nightmare, when all rush in. He then suddenly hugs Kajal (exactly like Dev used to!) and says to her "Don't leave me Kajal ever again". The family leave the room thinking its a tender romantic moment between these two, but Kajal is crying silently and apologising to Dev's photo, that if not this "majboori" she would never have let any man touch her like this other than Dev.
Seeing her cry bitterly, Raju asks "Were you so much in love", and she says "For a lifetime and always I will be". He then says to himself "This Dev was such a lucky guy. Wonder if I will have a love like that! But why are my eyes moist now?"
Ameesha and Karan are again talking about verifying Paua's address, when Ameesha says if only Karan can remove Kajal from the house for one day, she can prove if this is Dev or not ... just then Uncle arrives with suitcase of Kajal's clothes, and NT says "Hereafter Kaajjal will live here as Dev needs her at this difficult time".
