Wow, if anyone missed today's episode, they'd have definitely missed out on a lot of interesting character developments eh!
1) Thakur's sudden show of expressive love
As has been shown before, the actors on this show have the capability to emote anything through their facial expressions alone. And it seems like the Thakur is no less! My initial thought was that he was simply concerned regarding the BSD's security over the border. But no - he eagerly ceded to his wife's request to hold onto her tight and safe! And the brimming eyes - what pools of love eh? Who knew such a jallad ki baap (not pointing in any particular direction, simply an observation) could even harbour any genuine feelings...
2) Kakisa's first jhalak of hasee toh phasee
What a field day for her yaar! Definitely soaking in the fun while she can. I've honestly been eagerly waiting to see her laughing - when her taana marna is so genuine, her hasee is enough to phasao anyone! Rudra inclusive!
3) Rudra's softer side
I don't think we hardly ever get a glimpse of what this hink of rock looks like beneath his, well, hunkiness and shaandaar moonch. The stark fear in his eyes when he heard the song, the terror and trepidation when he went to Paro, and of no less importance, the silent breakdown. After so many years, she managed to awaken some of the ache he had ever felt for the mother who so shockingly abandoned him. He didn't cry out loud - in stark contrast to his evergreen upright posture, he crouched down as low as possible and merely wept to himself. It's very easy to forget that this is just an actor putting up a performance - he makes you want to wipe away his tears through the cold, hard glass (LCD screen) of the television.
