Chapter#31
After Arnav had fired Lavanya things were pretty well on both the places, his office and his house. He had no idea where Lavanya had disappeared and he didn't even want to know. He felt stupid for thinking that he liked Lavanya a lot. He felt stupid for torturing Khushi.
Lavanya was his past and he didn't want to waste his time thinking about her. All he knew was he had made things right. Well most of them. Khushi still didn't talk to him that much and he needed to fix that too. He was going to fix his future and hers too.

Khushi had started to get normal with everyone, more than normal. She was her bubbly self, jumping around here and there, making everyone smile and laughing like crazy with them. Khushi and Nk spent time with each other too. And Rehan also stopped by once a week but now he had friendly feelings for Khushi.
Khushi and Arnav both slept on the bed but just to annoy the hell out of Arnav, Khushi made sure that she went to the wash-room first in the morning. Arnav knew she did it purposely and it really did annoy him but he didn't say anything to her because the first time she did that she smiled like a little mischievous child and somehow Arnav felt good.
Life was good in Shantivan.

And then suddenly one day... everything turned upside down.
Arnav was ready for office in his dark grey suit with a white collar shirt on and a matching grey tie, his hair gelled back as usual and his Bluetooth stuck to his ear.
As he sat down on the breakfast table with everyone busy eating, he talked on the phone with Aman about some deal like always.
Khushi came from the kitchen, muttering a few words under her breath with hot parathas in a plate. She had made her hair into a bun with a few strands on her face and the rest behind her ear. She wore a light green long Kameez and a white churidar with her double shaded green-white duppatta knotted near her waist.
She seemed angry. Arnav noticed as he kept giving instructions to Aman on the Bluetooth.
As Khushi was about to put a paratha on Arnav's plate, he stopped her from doing so as he didn't want to eat it.
This annoyed Khushi even more.
"Why are you such a tight ass?!" -Khushi snapped.
They heard gasps around the table and two giggles.
Arnav stared at her with wide eyes.
And everyone looked at her while biting the inside of their cheeks so that they wouldn't laugh.
Nk giggled and Aman on the other end giggled too as he heard his boss's wife snap at him.
This was going to be interesting.
"Why are you such a tight ass?!" -Khushi snapped.
They heard gasps around the table and two giggles.
Arnav stared at her with wide eyes.
And everyone looked at her while biting the inside of their cheeks so that they wouldn't laugh.
Nk giggled and Aman on the other end giggled too as he heard his boss's wife snap at him.
"Huh?" -Arnav said just as shocked as the other family members.
"Tight ass... sir." -Aman said on the other end making Arnav snap too.
"Shut up Aman! Tumse nahi poocha!" -Arnav gritted his teeth.
"Yes, you're a tight ass. Itnay nakhray hain. You act like one of those aunties who keep going on diets. Oh no! No oily parathas! I'll get fat!" -Khushi pretended. "You're a girl."
Anjali burst out laughing making the rest of the ladies and men follow her lead leaving a fuming and embarrassed Arnav behind.
"No I'm serious." -Khushi said to others. "And not just that... you dress up like a tight ass too! You look like some guy from the 1960's, always wearing the same colors. Loosen up a bit!" -She huffed and went back to the kitchen as a roar of laughter invaded the room.
"Ye bakri, sherni kabsay ban gayi?" -Manorama laughed off.
Arnav's mind was about to blow. How dare she?
He went straight out of the house, leaving for office.

Khushi on the other hand realized what she had just done. And she gulped down in terror. What did I just do?! You just ruined the rest of your life by your own hands!
