How do I comment upon something which has left me somewhat speechless, highly in awe and painfully saddened?

Khushi's turmoil, the innocence of her love and heartbreak, Arnav's honest attempt to find a lost friendship... it all weaved poetry befitting the beautiful shayari intermittently dispersed throughout the amazing piece. I cannot honestly claim that my grasp of Urdu is of an honest calibre to understand every word, but the pain which translated within your heartfelt words was nothing short of palpable anguish.

A truly brilliant OS dear, painfully brilliant

You broke my heart!!! But I can't help and say, this is what real life is. We are forced to be mature, be selfless yet selfish, be giving- Not because we want to; but because thats the only dignified way to keep ourselves moving through life. With nothing but the hope, that someday someone will come, who will be selfish enough to give us priority above everything and everyone else.

The kind of pathos your writing has induced in this piece is remarkable.

I try to stay away from poignant stories as this, but when i saw you as the author i had no choice but to read on.

Or is this just another little scrape that will leave a scar that fades and yet remains fresh enough to ooze blood with every fresh encounter, every new picture posted on Facebook, the glimpse of those eyes in a friend's wedding?

I guess it brings home that life is not a fairy story and we don't always live happily ever after with our true love.

Just because you love someone doesn't mean they have to love you back.

You know all the above is true but - dil hain ki maanta nahin ...

What can be more painful than unrequited love that has lasted 10 years.

This is so sad, the kind of story that keeps you wishing for a completely different end even as you know where it will eventually be leading too. That part where Khushi turns away from him and lets go of her tears, its heart wrenching. Yet, it was in ways beautiful too, Arnav not letting go of his wife's hand and all in all you writing, which was so brilliant here. Amazing work as always Rae! <3
