CHAPTER-9.

Veera stared into his dark eyes..The magic in them evoking never before felt sensations within her.

The world and time seem to be forgotten,as she was lost in his beautiful soulful deep eyes..The rain had long stopped but the thunder still splitting the sky,seemed to be reflecting the storm within them..

And then his eyes slowly lowered to her lips,and then back up into her wide eyes again,making her bottom lip tremble with an all new sensation.

A loud thunder sound broke into their trance,and Veera mumbled that she would see him later,and tried to get off the car.But in her hurry she somehow slipped and while at the same time,Baldev was about to prevent her fall,still sitting on his seat.

Accidentally Veera's lips brushed against his rough bearded cheek,making her gasp at the contact,and him turn completely rigid,with his hand still round her waist,where he had held her for supporting her.

He moved away slightly,and looked into her eyes,so close to his now..His heart was doing flip flop at the contact of her soft lips against his cheek..

And suddenly as if his hands had a mind of their own they tightened round her waist,making her gasp out again..

Thunder rumbled over head again,and Veera's hand went up to his collar and clutched tightly,as her eyes moved to his lips and then back up into his eyes again..

Baldev could see that she wanted the same thing that he did..He did not stop to think if it was right or wrong,but his hand moved under the jacket he had made her wear,and touched her soft skin,at her waist,under her clinging saree,making her lean more onto him.

His hand caressed her soft skin,and he could see her eyes changing color with need that was also reflected in his..

Something happened to both o f them right then,and they moved their heads closer..Their lips were almost touching ,their warm breaths mingling.

Their eyes burning into each other's with a mutual need and hunger..

Baldev's eyes moved to her soft lips,and then raised to hers again..He did not know if it was right,and nor did he want to think right now..He just wanted to..

As his lips came closer to hers,Veera sighed out and closed her eyes,as if with satisfaction..

A soft smile touched the corner of Baldev's lips as his lips touched hers..

"VEERAKHDHI!!!Tu inni raat ko iththe ki kar rahi hai?!Aur wo bhi-..

[VEERAKHDHI!!!What are you doing here so late at night?!And that also-..]"Ranvir looked at Baldev,shocked more than ever..

Veera and Baldev had both moved away from each other,as soon as they heard Ranvi's voice..

Veera quickly got down from the jeep and mumbled something about coming from a friend's party,and Baldev dropping her off..

As Ranvi frowned ,ready to ask more questions Veera mumbled an excuse of being tired and ran upto her room..

A deeply frowning Ranvi was about to turn towards Baldev,to ask him the questions,when he heard the jeep starting..And by the time he turned Baldev was bidding him goodbye and driving away,leaving him more confused than ever..

Veera locked her door,and went and ran to her window..To her disappointment she noticed his jeep's backlights disappearing..

But as she stood in front of her mirror,and her eyes fell on his jacket wrapped round her body,a blush came on her face..

She hugged the jacket tighter to her body..She loved the feel of it round her body..And it also felt warm and smelled of him..

She inhaled happily,and hugged it tighter,grinning from ear to ear..

After changing into a baby pink t-shirt and white three quarters,she remembered she had to punish him for what he had done to her..

So she took her mobile,and sent him an sms to meet her the next day..

Then keeping her phone by her side,she took his jacket,and hugged it tightly..How she loved the feel of it..With that thought she drifted off to sleep,the jacket held tightly in her arms..

Something woke her up,and she squinted into the semi dark room,and she had just turned round in her bed,when she almost screamed out in fear,as she looked directly into a pair of dark eyes just infront of her face..

She almost screamed out,but her scream was muffled by his hand closing over her mouth..

She looked into his face,not able to believe he was really here or was she dreaming..?

"Mainu neend nai aa raha tha..Iss liye ithte-..

[I couldn't sleep..That's why here-..]"His husky words nearly made Veera giggle out hysterically..

Did he think she was sleeping pill,or did he expect her to sing him lullaby?!!Why was he here if he could not sleep..?!She could not help thinking..

Nor could she speak her thoughts aloud as his hand was still on her mouth..

"Tu ye jaan puchke kar rahi hai ki..?Veera tu mainu pagal kiu bana raha hai?!Bol na?

[Are you doing this intentionally..?Veera why are you driving me crazy?Tell me?]"With his last husky words he removed his hand from her mouth,but then his thumb started brushing her soft bottom lip,making her gasp out with pleasure and thrill of it..

Her lips started tingling,and her breathing got heavy at his touch..And she could see his eyes darkening too,as his breath got raspy and heavy which was like sweet music to her ears..

And yet his thumb brushed her lips,as his face moved closer to hers..The only sound in the semi dark room was the sound of their harsh breathing and their loud heart beats..
