Chill,
I am not talking about Rudra's dialogue to Chaachi when she tried to embarrass Rudra and Paro over their sheepskin wolf-romance. I am completing Rudra's incomplete line. He only said ' Jawaan khoon hai."
The complete line goes like this:
"Jawaan khoon hai, zor toh maarega hi."
Translation: If you are young and hot-blooded, your blood will always be boiling.
Its holds so true for both Rudra and Paro today. Yes, all this TERRITORIAL flirtation, underlying seduction threats , the teasing physicality that Rudra is imposing on Paro are his tools to scare her as a man and as a future husband who would only want 'Choodhi-Leela' 24x7. But these very interactions, bring out an important facet of Rudra's and Paro's relationship.
Its a relationship of equals.
Paro gets intimidated by Rudra's physical dominance, but she ensures that she cools him down with slight physical counter force and her one-liners. The other day when Rudra made Chaai and Paro sound as the most melodious words ever , Paro had pushed Rudra after recovering from her YRF in Swiss Valleys trip. Rudra had returned to normalcy.
Today, when Rudra does not realize ( or maybe he did it deliberately ) that he has man-handled her wrist , Paro doesn't go and sob in corners. She shows her wrist to Rudra and tells him that only he can know the size of her wrists because he handles her like a monster. Rudra looks instantly guilty and for a good time , before recovering his arrogant composure and making her wear those red bangles.
Its in Rudra's instinct now to take Paro's arm and make her stand behind him whenever trouble comes knocking - and she , as though synchronized with him, goes and stands behind him, unconsciously confident that he will protect her. Yes, yes, even if its just Chaachi Sa, Proper physical and mental synchronization with each-other.
Paro always reminds Rudra in her own way that his khoon maybe jawaan , but her own hemoglobin is no less red than his. So, when he tells her that she will not go for the Jhaanki rasam, she tells him that she will do exactly the opposite - only because it will frustrate him. She tries to convey it to him that she is living with him by her CHOICE and not his FORCE.
Paro gives time to Rudra to roar, rage, rant and then, she brings down his boiling point in her own way. This is the balance and treatment that is needed to tackle Rudra, and Paro will soon master this art.
Apart from that, i must say i like this feather-soft sensuality that Rudra uses on Paro. Unless he is gripping her, his touch is feather -soft, his voice always low and buttery ,and his words passionate but wrapped in a multi-meaning prose. His physicality as a man romancing a woman is rather dangerously soft. Small example - the way his hand reached for Paro's neck. The team has got it right. Sensuality is meant to be soft - like a burning incense stick.
That said, Rudra's approach to Paro as a woman is rather territorial. I know that you will think how he smoothly cornered her to that pillar and gave her those honey-dipped threats. But am not talking about that - The precap. Rudra is handling Paro as though he is marking it to the world that she is his territory. This, apart from his protective streak for her.
Also, Rudra did not like Kaaki Sa commenting on his and Paro's privacy with that choodhi-leela. That is why he gave the snark-dipped retorts and instinctively veiled Paro. And , well, Kaaki Sa felt the sting.
Well, leaving the jawaan khoon to boil and once again reminding you that Rudra's utterance of 'Paro' is most beautiful, i want to mention just one more moment that stayed with me:
Thakurain Sa rolling down the window and asking Rudra " Abb hum jaa sakte hainn?" and Rudra , getting zapped by that voice and those rain-veiled eyes ... and unconsciously lifting his Rudraksh adorned hand to allow her car to leave...
This sums up what Rudra feels for his mother and it was A BEAUTIFUL SCENE. For the rest, i do not want to comment on Thakurain Sa's Rudra and Paro waala love as of now.
BTW, how many of you think that Rudra and his life are woven around Paro and Thakurain Sa. Rest of the people in his life are important but Paro and Thakurain Sa take the cake.
