The original original Madhubala story line (confirmed by NF)

Madhubala is a story of a girl who is born in the lap of Bollywood. Despite coming from this background, she is a simple girl with no ambitions, a common girl devoid of glamour who is not fascinated by the show business at all. Where her elder sister, Trishna is trying her best to become a Bollywood heroine, Madhu is happy wrapping sarees and selling it to customers at the local garment shop.
Madhu is very well aware of her beauty but is humble and simple at heart. Till, one eventful day where her destiny changes forever...

Madhu goes on a film set to deliver something to her sister and Rishabh kumar alias R.K. the leading Bollywood superstar spots her standing in a shaft of light. He gets mesmerized by her beauty and gets an idea - to share the silver screen with Madhu. He manipulates and plays tricks to reach her and makes her the offer of her dreams. Madhu is taken aback by his audacity and flatly refuses his offer.

He tries to pursue but she doesn't relent. He tries to connive her into entering his glamorous world. Furious RK, through his tricks and deciet vows to make her act with him and from there Madhu's life is eclipsed. The Girls with simple dreams is now compelled to act and everyone is surprised; a new star is born!

From here begins the painful, challenging and very complicated love story between Madhu and RK.

This is completely different from what they showed on TV right besides the fact that Madhu was born into the lap of bollywood and that Trishna wants to be a star. This sounds classy and different to the typical repetitive stuff they show on Indian TV which they ended up showing in this show too. The story line didn't change for TRPs.. it was probably planned to be shown like they did and this is probably one of the earliest drafts NF came up with. The show would have done so so much better if they just stuck to this and the RishBala junoon would have been even more intense and classy compared to RK "buying her off" in order to save her father in the beginning.. ouch. How typical and how many serials have they showed that in? It would have been amazing if they stuck to the original plot.

The only thing I'm glad about is that they didn't call RK Rishabh KUMAR like written in this description... EWWW 🤣 explains why the show fell so easily.. in the beginning before Rishbala got married and recently 🥱 it wouldn't have hurt to try something new NF...
