1. The ones who have everything to lose. Every single thing that is keeping them alive. They can go to any limits, cross any limits to save what is dear to them.They would fight tooth and nail but never accept the suffering slapped on them.
2. The ones who have nothing to lose.Do anything, take them anywhere, wage any war and they shall take it all as a sponge. They have long forgotten what it feels to suffer. If your threaten to burn them, they will give you the fuel.
Rudra belongs to the first category.
Paro belongs to the second category.
Today, when Rudra goes all gun blazing on his father and uncle, he defines the extremity of the first category. He is willing to take this battle with Paro to the point of marrying her and keeping her with him forever , if she doesn't break and bail him out of the situation that he is in. She will save me at any cost. If she doesn't. I will marry her at any cost. Like he said -"Ye darr mujhse jo karwaayega , main karoonga."...The fear psychosis of losing your reason to live can take Rudra to any extent now. All he knows is that he does not deserve the suffering that is being piled on him. If Paro cannot be his saviour, he will stay her captor. He is ready to tie his life with her, even if its to suffer with one another.
Paro's silence, her ghost-like slow walk, her resolve , her surrender to Rudra only because of her faith in her GOD and His will - they are signs of a person who has no plans to fight a war. Just hold on to her truth and let the chips fall wherever they do. She is terrified of Rudra and he is everything that apparently repels her... yet , even though she waits for a miracle, somewhere she is preparing herself to marry Rudra. There is no fear of what kind of life it will be with him - even if there is a drop or so, her resolve in sticking to her decision is greater. She has lost everything and everyone that she had - and if Almighty is tying her to Rudra, she will surrender. Even Rudra's threats of a nightmarish life cannot take away the numb surrender that she has decided upon. She fears Rudra , but she no longer fears a life with him.
This is the gist of today's episode apart from the small plot movements of Thakurain Sa, Rudra's next move on Thakur and Mohini's new cards for Paro. Nothing remarkable but well-fitted in the screenplay.
Having said that, i just want to mention the following moments that stood out.
1. When the sequins of Paro's attire draw Rudra's attention. As she stands looking at him, there is no anger, disgust , hatred. Just a naive wonder with an emotional tinge that is he my future? Her face is soft , pensive as the anger and disgust is settling and the anxiety of an uncertain future is settling in her mind and heart.
2. Paro's gentle and fair hand supporting Rudra's hand during the Ganeshji Aarti. The contrast of the tough and the gentle which can be understood only when you see it visually.
3. Rudra's hasty exit after the Pooja is culminated. He runs to make a call to Aman. Because, inside he knows that what he is doing and how he is taking Paro with him is morally wrong. Yes, he wants to hold on to her as a desperate measure, but till the critical point, he will keep on trying to stop this marriage , either way. If it doesn't, then, putting his heart at the backburner, he will marry Paro , come what may.
