Hello every one..!!! 😊 First of all "Happy anniversary to all Samudians". 🥳There have been many wonderful posts in the forum before, regarding the journey of Samud, their happiness, sadness, separation, togetherness, etc.. But I wanted to make a post exclusively for our Dream guy.. the most charming and near to perfect Mr.Saraswatichandra (Vyas) and how his journey has been with love (phase I) 😃😳. On occasion of the first anniversary of our favourite show, lets relive those moments of our show's title character.😃
He was a Harvard graduate, who looks ultimately modern and handsome, managing his dad's business outside, but he was a guy with all the sanskar and discipline, who does pooja and follows all riti riwaaz at home (itne acche bacche ko pehle kahin dekha hai aap sabne?) (Kumud and kusum are motis according to the Desais..but Saras and Danny are the real motis according to me)😃
Saras was very deeply attached to his mother, who can sacrifice anything and everything for her and who can't hear a word against her. Eventhough she left him at his tender age by committing suicide, he was always in his heart and thoughts. He was the most loyal son a father could have and Lakshminandan was the lucky one who was blessed with such a son. But fate had it in the form of Guman. Though Saras was having a very great respect towards his father, there was no sign of affection and attachment between them, though both desperately wanted to enjoy and express those feelings, deep down inside.. thanks to Guman, the vamp and the second wife of LN, 😡(because of which Saraswati, mother of Saraswatichandra commited suicide) for being a big wall between them which caused a great distance between the father and the son..His only companion was his friend Sunny.
Then came the rishta for Saras from LN's thickest friend, none other than Vidyachatur, for his first moti, Kumud . LN and VC mutually decided among themselves to get their children married so that, their friendship will reach an even more firm level. As the saying has it, these parents made the best decision for their children, which both the prospective Dulha and Dulhan (our very own Samud) failed to understand at first 😳. Then our Dulhan understood its priceless value and said yes with only seeing his sapnon ke Rajkumar's eyes . But after his mother's death, which happened in front of him, Saras was still having that trauma inside and was leading a sanyasi life all along. He was sure that the only relationship in his life was that of mother and child and not anything else. He was of the thought that he can never stick to a marriage relationship or any other relationship for that matter, as that only ends hurting each other, according to him. So, his decision was to say a big no to Kumud, without even seeing her face.😔
Hesitant to say his decision to his father, he wrote a letter to Kumud rejecting the proposal. Kumud was left with all shock and disappointment of losing her Rajkumar, after reading his letter 😭. Then came the video call, which was arranged by the family, before Kumud could tell her family about the letter. It was actually to make Saras and Kumud meet and talk with each other. Unable to tell the truth to her family at that time, Kumud went along with her family for the computer centre to attend the video call. Saras, who was totally uninterested, got ready for the video call, just for the sake of LN (but he was totally unaware that, the one call was about to spin his life forever 😉).. All the Desais were so interested and excited for the Video call but Kumud was so nervous as to what to be done.
Once they saw their hone wale Damaad, the Desais went totally mad talking one by one, making the poor soul Saras all embarrassed, forgetting about the one, who was needed to talk.. our very own Mirchi..Kumud.. 😆Then finally when the turn of Kumud came, everyone left the room, so that she can speak with him alone... Then came the twist of his life.. The one who was leaning in a relaxed way came to a straight position and starred at his laptop.. Then came a lady he could hardly overlook; the sound of her Kamarbandh attracted him, he could see everything of her except her face,😆 as she sat in a turned position, with her waves like hair covering her face..
She started..."Jisse meri na koyi Rishta... Aur naahi hone wale hai... Usko mera chehra dekne ki koyi haq nahi hai.." These words sticked to his heart and was ringing in his ears even after the call ended.. She challenged him.. "If you have little courage in you..go and tell you father that you don't need this marriage.. even if that's not possible.. come here and tell my father..Do you have the courage??" she asked him and the call got cut due to network problem. It was an end to that call but was a beginning of an eternal love story of SARAS and KUMUD..😃😳
He could not forget those words of kumud and decided to fulfill her challenge.. (Deep down inside... he was really attracted to our Mirchi which he himself did not realize..And it seems that he decided to visit Ratnanagiri mainly because of the attraction he got towards her rather than to fulfill the challenge she placed 😆)...And our hero Harvard Chandra gave a shock to Mirchi Sundari by arriving at the Haveli in Ratnanagiri..⭐️
Kumud would have been really happy and excited seeing him at heart but outside she maintained her anger and decided not to show her face, instead, sent kusum, who dressed like kumud to Saras. But Saras, the Rajkumar, seeing kusum in kumud avatar.. said.. "go and tell your sister that I won't go from here without meeting her"... Both kusum and us were left to a big surprise at Saras, of his ability to guess correctly that it was not kumud, even without seeing her face 😲.. but the truth was... that one glimpse of her eventhough not face, during the video call, stuck to his heart in a manner that could not be erased. Of course our Mirchi was thoroughly impressed with this, at the same time her sweet ego got hurt..😉😃
Then our hero, unable to control his ever growing attraction, made several attempts to see her face..😳
And after trying several times, he was done with that, and so challenged Kumud that within the end of the day of Uttrayan, he will see her face... And yes.. the winner was of course our Saras.. who won Kumud again 🥳 (first time being the winner of her heart..)
What followed next brought a scratch to the beautiful feelings that developed between Samud till then.. Yes she unintentionally reminded him of his never dying trauma, which he was suffering from his mother's death..😭
He was not at all ready to forgive kumud, inspite of her pleadings. He asked her.. "how will you nurse my wounds, without knowing how deep it is"... He was at his rude self and hurt kumud physically for the first and the last time..😭
But after his change of heart, he was ready to forget and forgive what kumud did to him and even felt the pain of Kumud, when she got hurt (was he the one who hurt her before ?😲).. But kumud was angry and she packed all his things and made saras to leave the house during night..😔
The next day our hero Saras, to kumud's surprise, came in time to help that darbok Yash from the villagers for the Gauhatya and accepted the punishment himself saying that it was he who did that.. Our Kumud sundari and ofcourse our VC ji were not ready to leave their Saras to those villagers, as Mirchi was sure enough that her Methi ka ladoo is innocent.. But our Saras is after all Saras that he accepted the punishment of the villagers (to buy a cow with his own money to Ila ben, the owner of the cow, with only one time food) and went with them.
But more than a punishment, it became a great phase for Samud..Where their feelings for each other, especially Saras, got even more deep..😳
He fulfilled his prayaschit inspite of not being the culprit (at last Ila ben got to know about that).. All thanks to kumud..who was there with him all through..and knowing that she was the one who made the pots to sell, our Saras got all emotional for hurting her before and got close to her more than it should be..😆
Then our mirchi maintained the distance (chaar katham) between Saras and herself after his return to Haveli ... But nothing can keep them apart for a long time, eventhough Saras tried it.. Then came Guman, to Haveli, to separate Samud. After a few days, she brought the truth of Saras rejecting Kumud in front of the whole family. A shocked VC got angry with kumud and Guniyal, for hiding the truth from him.. But our Saras, successfully convinced him, making vc realize the situation. But one fine day, Dikra again got close to kumud unable to control his feelings for her, when they were out of Ratnanagiri. Due to rain and storm, they reached home late, and the result was Kumud getting Slap and scoldings from VC and Gun because of the Camphor which Guman lit 🥱.. Again the chaar katham ki dooriyaan condition continued.. with saras accepting the fact that they are feeling something between them which they can't escape from.. These words, attacked kumud, which made her think as to whether really something exists between them..😲
Then came LN to Haveli.. Saras as usual was not comfortable talking with his dad.. Then our kumud, the hone waali beevi of saras, decided to patch things up between her hone waale pati and Sasur ji (even though samud were claiming that there was nothing between them).. Of course her attempts succeeded inspite of that vamp Guman.. and the lovely bond of that father and son came into light... As time passed, Saras again failed to hide his attraction slowly came near Kumud without realizing.. and one fine day he even expressed his "Pyaar" for her... Kumud atlast heard those words, which she desperately wanted to here from Saras all those days..and even she confessed her "Pyaar" for him..
Then the love birds had their share of romance, cute fights, sweet moments, sadness. But all these brought them closer and closer. No one can forget their "Aata romance" as well..😳😃
And during LN and VC's friend's daughter marriage happened in their Haveli, Kumud challenged Saras to ask her hand to her father before every one... And our silent, shy and inexpressive Saraswatichandra, went out of his way, and even did that for her, leaving kumud all impressed and emotional.. When Saras like guy asks for a girl, who can say no?? VC happily agreed..😃
Then came the famous Genda phool romance.. and the next day Kumud avoided Saras, and was all crying crying, as she felt that she did a big "bhool" leaving him confused..🥱
But our Saras started nibaaying pathi ka dharam then onwards and saved her grace infront of Guniyal and Guman.. "Kumud is my wife and insulting her is like insulting me..".. These words to Guman, brought kumud back to senses and she realized her mistake of avoiding her methi ka laddoo Saras.😳
Then the family understood that separating these love birds won't be good hereafter and decided to do their marriage soon.. Saras, the one who was afraid of getting into a marriage relationship was all happy and excited...The one who ran away from relationships was enjoying his dream about his marriage and life after that with kumud..All thanks to kumud and her love which changed the moody Saras into a happy one..😊
And Samud finally got engaged..😃
This is the Happy family of Desais and Vyas for you all..
He was a dutiful son as well and so he wanted leave to Dubai along with his father to finish his business deal.. But his lady love was all in distress because of her Rajkumar leaving to Dubai..😭
They decided to keep in touch through video calls and msgs..
He admired her beauty through the pics which she mailed him, and on his "personal request", she even took a pic of her "baal" so that he can sleep peacefully seeing that.. Was he the same saraswatichandra, who was once a saint??😆
He is no less than Lord Ram, that he even kept Karwachauth vrath being in Dubai and flew down to Ratnanagiri to break his hone waali beevi ki vrath and to get his vrath broken by her.. sigh...Can any man be like our Saras who can do anything for his love?? But when he again left to Dubai, our love birds might not have known that, it was their last meeting before marriage, after which their lives would turn upside down due to circumstances..😕
But come what may, none can change their love for each other, as it goes deep and deep with time.. And a proof for such love is our "Saras"..😳😃
PS: I have been preparing this for the past two weeks, but could not complete fully due to time constraints. Selection of pics, making collages out of them, uploading, all took much time for me..😕. But I really hope to write Phase II of our Saras's journey with love whenever I get time.. Hope you all enjoyed this..😃 and sorry for the long post.😃
