I doubt Ashok is in love with Tannu neither does he look like he is in love with Shagun. Shagun is a winning trophy for Ashok, he parades with her in the society for his image. Now he wants Ruhi to add on to his collection, just to show his superiority against Raman. It is just the matter of time, till he finds a better catch for himself.

Ashok would never love Tannu, she's not that pretty. Ashok is a superficial man, he wants the best of the best and Tannu is average at best. He might be fooling around with her and having a fling, but he will never take her around as his wife. He uses Shagun as his trophy because she's pretty and wants to make Raman jealous but he will never marry her because she is known now as the girl who goes from man to man. Also if they make this article she will be known as the girl who gets pregnant with another man's baby beside her husbands and goes around telling her husband that its his baby. Now that in the Indian community is a VERRYY bad look.
