Thakur wanted Mohini and made plans to take her away,but Mala interferred and begged him to leave her sister alone and Thakur promsied to leave Mohini alone,if she came away with him.

If Mohini knew the truth.That would kill her.all the taunts,all the curses will just go to waste.That will burn inside her like acid,Sulphuric acid.

Just my way of trying to get even with Mohnini.

That's an interesting take. But if that were true, I don't think Thakurain would be in love with Thakur. She would hate him. From the looks of it, the Thakurain is absolutely devoted to the Thakur.
