First of all, I would stick to the original script.. To me the TRPs seem like the nemesis of serials.. I get the impression that even though the CVs had a tightly bound script with 200 episodes already written, they had altered it along the way due to the pressure of the Public & TRP... had they proceeded with their original script based on Othello it would have clicked majorly with the audience.. This is what happens when you try to please everyone you end up pleasing no one... we like to see something different.. some serials are meant for adult viewing so for those who complain that they cannot watch it with their young ones should know that not all content aired on TV is meant for audience of all ages.. what they need to understand is that there is a section who would like to view something different.. there was nothing gory or crude in this serial so not sure what the complaints were about...

there were many who did not like the montage of a gun pointed to a girl's head or where she was tied with a rope to the jeep.. but what we all seem to forget is that it was the original promos with such scenes that drew us to this serial.. somewhere along the way many moaned about it being too harsh for viewership... I just cannot understand this complaint.. everyone knew what they were getting into..

Nothing is still lost.. we could still salvage the serial... in fact it is not too boring or over the top... it is average.. bear in mind we cannot maintain the same momentum always.. to move the plot forward they have to build up certain characters..

I was a bit dissapointed after hearing that they were heading with the concept of a forced marriage between the two leads.. this is something I did not fancy
..having watched another serial with a similar concept i was not looking forward to another along the same line... the saving grace in this serial is the hero is more of a gentleman than a churl shown in the other.. I disliked the hero of the previous serial especially the way he treated the heroine.. the abuses he hurled and the physical treatment meted out to were all cruel.. In this serial, there is no excessive aggression. there is very minimal - the maximum I have seen is R dragging P or hold her hand tight with no bruising. Even if they show a bit of aggression that is justified because she is considered an offender against the state and we all know how they are treated in real life..

I like to keep the reel and real life separate thus finding logic in a fictional serial is futile.. I am okay with Maamisa's taunts .. i guess her one liners are extremely hilarious and rendered in perfect timing. I wonder why they did not show Takursa on the hunt for Paro.. had they kept that plot continuing on the side would have made the serial even more thrilling..

A few episodes aired this week did not have much of R but I attribute it to the fact it was because he was away on a short break...

I seldom watch SBS however, we see the forum littered with the ongoings of SBS discussed.. I wish they would title them as spoilers so that for those who dont want to know the future plot could tune off.. yes, they are revealing too much before the episode airs on TV which is also detrimental for the show .. when we know what is to come it somehow kills the excitement.. I hope the PH is listening and minimise these SBS videos... having catchy promos will increase the anticipation and viewership...

I love the cast, the presentation and the acting.. therefore, in that front we are just doing great... this serial has a lot of potential..

Hi there, agree w/ a lot of things you hv brought up. As regards to the first point, I couldn't agree more, Say crude and gory, and shows like game of thrones and others of the same genre come to mind,,. RR obviously does not even come close. I feel here the issue again is the general air of negativity and the lack of a positive light...or lighter moments of genuine bonding...some meaningful introspection or just moments that make you connect with the character in this show. The case in point being that of Paro. We hv had plenty of those for Rudra but very little in comparison for Paro which seems to be the general consensus anyway. And she is the FL, the audience needs to understand her better to sympathize or connect with her.

You jump from an intense scene between Rudra and Paro and then MausamSa begins spitting venom on screen right away or you get drawn into yet another Maithali's plight...where are the lighter moments? I actually enjoyed Sumer's scenes this past week...it did not feel out of place ...something along those lines... they are obviously trying to get that balance right but it's not quite there yet.

And I'm glad you brought up that point about SBS videos...I understand it may be a promotional strategy to air snippets and offscreen interviews on these shows so I doubt they will stop. However, I do think its high time these videos are labelled as spoiler videos on this forum and the titles worded judiciously so that they do not give away the content. I usually stay away from them but this week, I've found myself watching mostly everything...🥱 May be time for a spoiler video thread or something...

Add Sumer Paro track - he looks cute Add comic relief or some lighter moments in the house hold
Beef up Paro's character - show what she is thinking or going through - some flashback
Have Rudra act like a BSD officer and explore other ways to redeem his job
Show Rudra unable to go back to Laila on account of thoughts of Paro
Show Aman defending Rudra to BSD
Explain how the guns and ammunition were taken from the raid - if the baaratis were innocent and why bsd folks were killed

I like the story of RR. I love the leads and rest of the characters. I have no problem with the story or where it's going One thing I have learned is, if I want to enjoy this show or any other show, I am not going to read the IF forum.
I usually come here to watch the VM's created by the members, some people's topics that I know I will enjoy reading and have something new to say and not demoralize a show. Usually from the Subject line I know if I want to read or pass the post.

I enjoy the show because it entertains. Just like reading a book.

Good post! I would like to see anything but a forced/fake marriage track. They become predictable, the guy tortures the wife who acts like a martyr and sacrifices everything.
I understand that we need to keep the leads together and this is why the CVs opt for this marriage track, however I do like the idea of her being kidnapped and then rescued by Rudra. Perhaps he will take her to stay with Laila as his house is deemed unsafe. Then the excitement begins, Laila and Paro would chat, both were at her marriage.
Ruder will grow feelings for Paro etc. Jealousy would arise in Laila...it would be good to watch!

Anyway, whatever happens RR has shown to be different...the first scenes, Rudra and Laila together all show a hero who is not timid, he knows what he wants, and I enjoy watching it. I would love to see Rudra fall deeply in love with Paro, for him to genuinely seek forgiveness for not believing her and treating her badly, when he finally knows the truth, and I want a really passionate eye to eye confession of his love for her...not when he is drunk and blurting it out to her surprise, or during holi drinking bhang which is forgotton the next day, I want to see a real man to woman declaration of love!

- He needs to obviously keep his job and they need to go back to proper investigating mode away from Paro. They are reaching end of the line on using Paro as the only witness.
- Since BSD is a big part of the story I would like to see more of it, I am not even sure what that means, but maybe its workings, corruption in it, how did Thakur get away all these years must have some inside source, make BSD a genuine organization.
- Cut down mausam taunts, every time this woman opens her mouth she spits poison and it is not funny anymore. They need to balance her character, actor is brilliant and her presence is required but they need to cut down the bitterness.
- Bring Thakur back the real villain to counter the BSD. Again a very powerful character portrayed well at the start, he needs to get back in the thick of things.
- Paro definitely needs to start using as Rudra calls it her Beja. We don't get her character what she is thinking what she really feels for Rudra, her character needs depth.
- I know they want to throw the kitchen sink of misery at Rudra by bringing his mother into the fold, but I wish they would give it some time give Rudra some cooling off period.

Agree with the above!
