Sorry people, but this is not a Sandhir fic. This is a ParthxOC fan-fiction, and that's because I can't see Parth with that chudail Vidushi. Seriously; she makes my blood boil. And why Parth? Because even that guy needs some spotlight; I think Sandhir's being too greedy, taking it all on them. Our poor cute little Parth isn't really getting any.
It was a strange phenomenon, for Parth had never felt so calm so easily. He was a reserved person who never repressed, although bottled up all his good and bad feelings. This was one reason due to which his worries never seemed to leave him.
But looking at her alone made him feel at ease. After the demise of his mother, she was the first lady to make him feel so at ease; even Sanyukta Agarwal, for whom he had nurtured a soft corner did not have this effect on him; that was reserved for Randhir Singh Shekhawat. He walked up to this mystery girl; she kept looking into the distance, staring into oblivion, infinity.
"Who are you?" he asked gently. "New here?" She turned, a soft, gentle smile on her face, yet firm and determined.
"Yes. I'm new at this campus." Her voice was like tinkling wind-chimes to him; beautiful, clear and soft.
"May I know your name?" he politely asked. His mother had taught him that women held a position equal to men in all spheres of society.
"Alina," she replied. "Alina Singhania."
"Parth," he replied, extending a hand. "Parth Oberoi."
"Hello Parth. Are you in the third semester?" she said, shaking his hand.
"Yes."
"If I am not being a burden on you, would you kindly lead me to the astrophysics classroom? Professor Verma takes class there, right?"
"Sure," he said and lead her to the classroom. She walked, simply looking ahead, while Parth looked at her face; angelic at the least, divine at the most, and ethereal in all aspects. She walked on till she slipped on some kerosene spilled by students in the mechanical lab; they were third years, hoping to prank Parth, but ended up in making Alina Singhania trip.
