Fantastic update 👏

Arnav sketched khushi's expressive eyes, that's the thing which make her distinguish from other. They shine when khushi is happy and become dull when she is hurt and sad.

Finally Arnav become successful in giving the trust to khushi so that she can share everything in her past with him. A big burden is shed of from khushi all thanks to Arnav. Its the warm feelings, politeness and welcoming embraces of Arnav which make khushi strong enough to go through her past again and speak out the dard, insecurities and indifference for herself.

Arnav is right if his father truly wanted then he could have a normal life with khushi and could enjoy the content of family but he took the alternative option and miss the most important thing in his life.

The relation between them is now drastically change. They are now more than friends.

it wasnt your fault
like arnie said he had a chance of having a family
just because he lost his wife he also turned his back on the only family he had
that was just making things worse
jhe could have embraced his daughter as the last legacy of his wife
instead he did the opposite
so he lost out on his life
and you cant be blamed
in fact you needed him too
you too lost your mother dear
he wasnt the only one facing the loss
am glad he urged her to let him in
it wasnt easy for her
as she had built too many walls to protect herself
hope she realises what arnav said was true
thank god she opened up to him
and he was there for her
her eyes and her in his journal very interesting

Wow, what a way to celebrate my econ test- A new chapter! (I rewarded myself and for once, am not distracting myself) xD I really really like how you've used the hazel as a sort of symbol- to me, at least (maybe I'm reading too much into this)- Arnav is gradually redefining her eyes for Khushi, and I really like that. It's an interesting take- for once, it's nice to see Arnav healing Khushi. While the other way around is true as well, the depth of her emotions and pain and him helping her through it, instead of her being the constant bubbly creature- is refreshing.

Favorite line: The earnest essence of tender understanding she found in those chocolate depths caused her lips quiver as her heart bled tears of sorrow, the internal dam finally burst forth as the resultant salted diamonds began softly pouring from her eyes and Khushi clutched onto her unexpected saviour with all her might as her broken sobs reverberated around them in the slightly chilly air.

This line just broke my heart- her devastation was so poignant. What beautiful words, Manreet. Absolutely phenomenal. Definitely my favorite chapter so far.

brilliant update !!! finally khushi opened her heart to arnav and told him her story.. why she hated her eyes.. arnav's soothing words to khushi were bliss.. loved the update..

Such a beautiful term for her tears.

The pain he feels when he looks into her eyes - her agony - you painted such an amazing scene doing full justice to this turning point in their relationship.

superb update. Now is the time Arnav stands by her and makes her believe it wasn't her fault. My heart goes out for the little girl who craved for love and a soothing embrace from her father.
