Danger Caution Pleasant

The fighting continues. One likes darkness while other likes light. Why don't they get a nightlight? Ever heard the word 'compromise'? duh!

Abhay is angry and worried about Shlok questioning him regarding his possible involvement in Avdhoot's arrest. He is also not happy about Aastha getting 50% ownership in Shlok's company and Sojal didn't even inform him about it. When scumbags like Abhay feel threatened, they take it out on their subordinates. He calls up his stooge, Sojal, and threatens her that he would put the blame of Avdhoot's arrest on her if she doesn't keep him informed regarding the happenings in Agnihotri house. Sojal feels completely trapped and pressurized from all directions, with nobody to help her properly. Jaya offers a shoulder to cry but she never guides her daughter in the right direction. I will take a moment here to say that I didn't care for the actors who played Abhay and Jaya. I won't miss them if they are changed or if their character is discontinued. Shalmalee was good though.

Aastha decides to follow her sasubai's footsteps and take a stroll in the middle of the night to Shlok's secret den. She was about to open some letter, when sasubai, who was on her own routine night walking activity, snatches it from her hand. She also takes the opportunity to blast off Aastha, her parents and her upbringing. But Aastha, the ever dutiful bahu on a mission to please sasubai, just hangs her head down and walks back to her room😕. Later, she sees Anjali taking the junk out and follows her to see that Anjali is burning the stuff. Finally, her tubelight flickers on and she realizes that Anjali knows about Swathi and she is hiding it from her. She picks a few half-burnt scraps from the fire, after Anjali leaves, which seem to have very little or no information in them🤢. My question is, why didn't she demand answers from sasubai about Swathi at that time when she figured out that she knows about her? Why doesn't she tell her that its her right to know the truth about Shlok's past if they want their marriage to work? What is the purpose of her sudden over-obedience towards sasubai? She used to answer her back before the divorce drama. She started listening to her after coming back to the Agni house. I thought that was to annoy Shlok. But Shlok is sleeping in the room and she doesn't have to obey sasubai to piss off Shlok at the moment. Her equation with Shlok has changed in the last few days and irritating Shlok is not her motive anymore now. I just don't get it.😕 She opens her mouth unnecessarily all the time, why not open it to ask the right questions at the right time? I think the CVs have decided to stretch this Swathi issue for at least a month. So Aastha will keep missing the opportunities and we will keep analyzing and overanalyzing this (s word here followed by an f word). Now that I am done with my little bit of complaining and cussing, I can move on.

Sojal starts with her project extract truth from Varad. She suddenly starts behaving in an extremely sweet manner, that Varad usually appreciates in Aastha. She extends a hand of friendship... jhoota hi sahi. But Varad doesn't take it. He really looks down upon her. Sojal doesn't know how to redeem herself. Its useless to blame one or the other there. She starts by saying that there should not be any secrets between friends. Varad becomes tense suddenly but relaxes again when she asks him about the reason why Shlok left for Mumbai long back. Did he expect her to ask something else... about himself? This fellow is hiding something. I think he has an extra-marital affai or something like that. He blasts Sojal anyway, saying that if she really wants to be his friend, she needs to gain his trust and until that happens, she shouldn't expect anything from him. Aastha gained his trust and he treats her like his friend, but still he didn't tell her any secrets. He hides his own flaws by putting Sojal down or blaming her for everything that goes wrong in his life. No wonder she hates her husband. Sojal is undeterred though and she still decides to find the truth.

Shlok sees those glimpses of the ghost again in his sleep again and wakes up. Aastha returns to the room with her precious scraps and finds Shlok awake. Aastha hides the papers behind her back but Shlok doubts her. He tries to pry the stuff from her hand but Aastha resists and he lets go. She hides those scraps in the diary. Is somebody going to steal that diary and do we have to bear the chewing gum drama around it?

In the morning, Aastha wakes him up with the drizzle from her wet hair, but the grizzly bear doesn't like it if someone treats him like a teddy bear. He shows his claws... I mean scissors and threatens her that he will cut her hair off if she does that again.😆

Precap: Shlok screams in Aastha's face. She should seriously consider eating a piece of onion for such shouting bouts😳.
