Legal notices to Balaji

28 11 2006

Indian Television Academy (ITA), which holds 'Hero Honda Indian Television Academy Award' ceremony every year, has sent legal notice to Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms Limited, alleging that her production house was restraining the actors working for it from participating in this year's award ceremony.

Notices have also been sent to actors Ram Kapoor, Sanjit Bedi, Vikas Sethi, Jennifer Winget, Roshni Chopra and Prachi Desai, for allegedly breaking the contracts they had entered into with ITA, committing to perform in the award ceremony, and to be present for rehearsals prior to that.

its just saying that ekta stopped her actors participating in the awards ceremony even though they signed a contract saying that they will participate!
