If I am correct did Aurangzab also prosecute Sikhs.

This does not only have to do with Muslims and Hindus but also sikhs.

Aurangzab plays a huge part in sikh's religion because he was responsible for the death for Guru Teg Bahudur Ji and the youngest sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, along with a whole lot of other people.

Lets give credit where it is due, he was instrumental in killing his own brothers, who actually belonged to his religion

No wonder he is a role model for Indian politicians(especially the Nehru/Gandhi family)😉

aurangzeb "did it to" a lot of people. from what i hear, some muslims have been able to trace ancestors who converted to islam from hindusim during aurangzeb's time. it's interesting to actually meet people who can personally vouch for some of the history we read.

yea Aurangzeb did so many bad things to Sikhs

He forced Guru Tegh Bahudur Ji to watch his companions die
Bhai Mati Das was tied between two pillars and his body split in two by being sawn alive.
Bhai Dyala Ji was boiled alive in a huge pot of boling water🤢
Bhai Sati Das was was wrapped in cotton and burned alive😳
Then the head of
Guru Tegh Bahudur Ji was cut off publicaly in chandini chowk
when i saw paintings of these killings when i was little at the gurudwara i go to i was sooo shocked and couldnt believe that it happened

may they RIP

Yes Ronnie. I, being a sikh, know what a tyrant Aurangzeb was. Most brutal of all the Mughal rulers.

Plz open the link below and you would know even more about it.
Zafarnama

Zafarnama means the Notification of Victory and is the name given to the letter sent by the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji in 1705 to the Emperor of India, Aurangzeb. The letter is written in exquisite Persian verse.

In this letter, Guru Ji reminds Aurangzeb how he and his henchmen had broken their oaths taken on holy Koran. Even so, this treacherous leader could not harm the Guru. Guru Ji states in this letter that in spite of his several sufferings, he had won a moral victory over the crafty Mughal who had broken all his vows. Despite sending a huge army to capture or kill the Guru, the Mughal forces did not succeed in their mission.
