I am kind of finding these taunts by the maasi/kaki quite silly and cannot understand why it is bothering the two men so much? Did Dilsher throw her out of the house? Was he unkind to her? What does he have to be ashamed about? His wife ran away leaving, so if there is a character flaw it is in the wife, not in Dilsher unless he did something to her.
Fact is that the woman who ran away was also Maasi/Kaki's sister. If anyone needs to be ashamed about the way Rudra's mum behaved it should be the Maasi/Kaki and Dilsher if he was a bad husband and not Rudra at all.
And it is in very poor taste to continue taunting Rudra for something he could not have prevented or forseen as a child.
