I really liked today's episode. The juxtaposition of growing connect and comfort with each other along with the undercurrent of unease is beautifully portrayed by both actors. They are there for each other and for outsiders they present a united front, but when alone they cannot but emphasize their differences. Are they telling each other or convincing themselves?

Finally we got to hear and know what Paro is thinking and where she stands. Liked all the PaRud scenes and in clear words she told him that she is innocent , and she will not be vengeful. Also, liked the scene where Paro asks why Rudra saved her from the slap. Her comebacks and behaviour is leaving him with more questions than answers and most of them about his own feelings towards her.

Rudra truly felt bad for Paro for losing Maithali's goodwill, and the way he told Paro she count on him, came from the heart. Loved how Ashish modulated his voice there.

Liked that the creatives focused a bit on Paro's confusion regarding Rudra's diametrically opposite avataars, the captor and the protector. The dominant image for her is still that of the fearsome one.

Mohini is relentless, she promised a storm and is already stirring things up.

Sanaya got some good scenes today and she nailed it. Ashish was good.

@ bold so true...loved it...she is in a state of confusion at this point.

One more thing that really stood out for me was her patrotic voice. Rudra was quite taken up by her words. She would never go against her country nor would she allow anyone else to do so" That stood out for him, his eyes focused on her...that here was his captive who he thinks might be betraying her land...whilst she told him in clear and simply words she would not allow another to do so. This means that she would endanger herself if she had to save her country.

The episode was fab tonight . Loved loved the rudra paro scenes . The first one where he takes her to his room and tells us " this is not your home " and she says " then where is my home " ...awesome dialogues .
Infact the dialogues of this show have been so crisp throughout.

The second scene ofcourse was the much awaited night scene 😆 Liked the awkardness shown both by rudra and paro, especially rudra ...😉He is getting effected by her proximity ...no 2 ways abt it. The dialogues again were super . I am loving how paro's character is being unlayered slowly .
Both sanaya and ashish were superb again.

Then was the mausam chachi and dilsher scene ...cracking dialogues and good acting again. Chachisa is going into aggressive mode on the scheming part ...smart move , push rudra and paro to be married and the " truth " will come out ...what if they actually do get married 😆

And a word for the lovely orange lehanga choli that sanaya is wearing ...its stunning 😃

Very nice take, Diya!

I was amazed by Paro's answers at that haldi/ ointment scene. At the beginning, i thought she was being too childish.. trying to sympathize with Rudra unnecessarily..
But her response to Rudra's question, "why did she care for Jallad?" was good one! She wants to maintain the equation clear in her favour! There was a noticeable change in Paro's face, she closed her eyes at the reference to her husband's death!

I was once again stunned by Rudra's kindness. i understand why Maithili is avoiding Paro, but why the hell Samrat was showing angry expression to her?? Spineless! When Rudra witnessed the whole scene, I think he felt sorry for Paro. And that softened him and he offered that little support. Nice scene.

Dilsher is always a pleasure to watch. If only Mohini had eloped, not Maya, it could have been a wonderful family!

@Bold😆😆😆

Thanks, all for the replies and for some amazing takes ... just catching up with them. Sorry, today I have major lack of time so I can't reply individually.
Just responding to some points ...

Rudra and Paro both are softening towards the other ...
Paro in some corner of her heart, trusts Rudra absolutely as far as her personal safety is concerned ... her automatic sheltering behind him every time she is in physical danger, her return to him when she discovered his deceit ... and today, she was far less flabbergasted or embarrassed when he flipped her on the bed ... Rudra was much more flustered than Paro was. 😳

Rudra has started believing in Paro's innocence ... his heart believes it ... his mind wants to believe it too ... hence his sharp look up at her when she spoke of being faithful to her land, her soil ... and not allowing anyone to betray it. And he gets an insight into her nature ... she will not allow external forces to change her own basic nature ... while he has allowed the events of his life to shape him, and twist his personality into its bitter mould.

Rudra feels guilty about Paro's situation ... when she talks about being completely alone in the world, he knows he is at least partly responsible. That feeling is reinforced when he sees her rebuffed the the next day by Maithili. Of course, he justifies himself to her, by his "I told you so" ... he has no faith in relationships, and Maithili and Samrat giving Paro the cold shoulder just proves his point. But his guilt makes him reach out to her ... his own guilt and his mixed emotions about Paro ... try as he might, he can't see her as a guilty traitor any more ... everything she says and does, proves his impression wrong, and her quiet dignity and grace just adds to the picture.

And finally we see the dichotomy in Paro's mind about Rudra .. till now, he has been the Jallad ... the destroyer ... but at night she wonders for the first time ... is he destroyer? Or protector?

Also I noticed Rudra does not like any reminders of Paro's husband ... he loses no chance to tell her that her marriage was fake, her husband was 'nakli' , that her fate after marriage was uncertain and not as rosy as she imagines it would have been ... he hates the idea of any other man in Paro's life.
