PART 86

After 15 days

The air was thick as he stepped inside the hospital not caring for the people around. His eyes red as he looked straight while Vicky followed behind with Geet, Pari and Armaan. The tension was clearly visible as they tried hard to fight the pain they were feeling but in all this they failed to notice that if Maan was scared he was also fuming with internal anger and that would only calm down when he hunts those two Shikawat's now.

Maan she cried as she saw Maan walking towards her but he stopped her showing his hand looking at her. He just walked passed through Naina his Mom as he saw the doctor exiting from the ICU. Vicky was numbed as he saw that Maan did not even glance at their Mom and it killed him to some extent. How could he be so cold towards their Mom and seeing her breaking down he ran and held her tight assuring her tat everything would be right. Geet just stood holding Sweety tight as she tried to judge Maan but for the very first time she could not but she knew wat was going inside him, she knew how much he loved his Dad though he never showed it while Pari hugged Dadima making her to sit. Adi stood along with Maan as he spoke to the doctor. Wats the condition? His voice was full of anger as he spoke to the doctor who knew who he was. The doctor calmed himself as he needed to answer the MSK. The bullet has hit right below the heart Mr. Khuranna and due to huge loss of blood its critical. Maan stood straight with no change of expressions as he stared at the doctor who spoke in other words I can say though the bullet is taken off successfully we can't say anything right now.. 48 hours and will get to know Mr. Yash Singh Khuranna's state... just pray tats these 48 hours are crossed but whoever it was he knew tat Mr. Khuranna would not die instantly as the shot was well planned. The doctor placed a comforting hand on his shoulder and walked out of his sight.

Vicky take them back to the mansion Maan turned ordering Vicky who himself was shocked to hear it. He tried to open his mouth but one word from Maan made him to shut himself. You have spoken enough Vicky... And I don't want to hear more... just take everyone back and make sure that no one even peeks out of the window saying this he turned towards Adi I want tat bloody creep Adi.. Wherever he may be hiding but I want him and her. Adi knew that he meant wat he said but he himself was clueless right now. He did find out about the place where Rajveer and Annie stayed but after the incident they were nowhere to be seen. Maan he called out but his furious eyes and voice just could not let him complete wat he wanted to say I bloody want them Adi.

Bro Vicky called aise guss mein he tried to reason but Maan just did not turn back. Vicky sighed as somewhere now he was feeling guilty of making Yash to force them to send away and now as a result he was fighting for his life. M sorry bro... I did not mean this.. it was just Vicky could not even complete as his tears made their way as he could not even speak a word. He slowly walked towards the ICU making Maan to close his eyes as he also knew that Vicky was not wrong but now he could not get weak. He needed to be strong for his family and hunt tat Rajveer before he strikes back on his family.

M sorry dad.. m really sorry Vicky cried as he saw his Dad struggling to breadth inside the ICU. I just wanted bro to stay away Dad.. but I did not realize that Rajveer would do this.. m sorry Vicky cried but none came to console him as everyone was torn in their own pain. Vicky I said back home Maan yelled getting a grip on his emotions and I mean it. Vicky just turned but did not say a word and walked forcing everyone with him.

Maan Adi called after some silence. I want to know every bit of it Adi Maan's voice was sharp and demanding for an answer. Adi sighed as he was now all set to answer Maan. Yash Mama (uncle) had a late night business meeting. Maan glared at Adi as he continued I did not know about it as I was informed that the meeting would start at 5 and end up by 7 in the evening but then suddenly there was this change. Even though I was to meet him last evening I could not make through and asked the guards to be more alert. Maan was confused as he did not know about this part. I was informed by one of my agent tat lately they had seen a man following Yash but there was nothing done. I even had encountered tat man and got to know that he was some small criminal and was later arrested but I had my doubts. Maan looked at Adi back I don't know why I felt I needed to go deep into this and wat I got to know was shocking. Maan the criminal was to keep a track on Yash Mama's moves. We had him arrested the day before and I was busying in that matter as I could not just let anything go and yesterday when we got into more details we got to know that it was Rajveer who had hired him and it was not only him but there were many just petting pick pockets criminals who were tabbing on Yash uncle and before I could even reach to him he was shot.

Was it that b***** Maan clenched his fist waiting for the answer. They were around 10 men the one who attacked Yash uncle did not even step out of the car unless all the guards were dead... and it was well planned Maan.. they first just had a small tiff with firing shots so that they could divert the guards and when Yash Uncle's car was heading towards the Mansion fearing for something he was blocked and then shot and surprisingly the driver was kept alive and only shot in his legs.. it feels like Rajveer wanted someone to tell everything that happened... and though he did not know who the real man was but once I showed him the photo he confirmed its him.. Its Rajveer Shikawat, Maan.

Maan clenched his fists as his mind tried to keep calm. He knew his one mistake would cost him more and he could not afford anything to lose now and first priority is his Dad's safety and he heard Adi say again his not where he was last located Maan... two days back before the arrest of that criminal he shifted his base.

I want all the men's at work Adi... kahi bhi ho I want that b***** Maan roared in anger but Adi was surprised to see him under control. I have already ordered them Maan but Adi stopped looking at Maan who turned towards him again. Wats it Adi Maan narrowed his brows as he looked at Adi in confusion. There's a doubt Maan.. I mean when Rajveer killed every guard why wasn't the driver killed and foremost the Yash uncle was shot from close and if m right the bullet was hit in such a way tat uncle struggled for life but did not leave his breadth. Maan just kept looking at Adi as far as I can see no one is aware tat you and Vicky were not in Delhi nor in India and Rajveer wants revenge then he would have killed Uncle so that he could break the Khuranna's but isn't it strange that the driver was alive not much hurt and he was the one who called me from uncle's phone and probably why only me when he could call the ambulance Maan.

I want to meet the driver Maan said after a silence of few second. He is still under observance Maan... though not hurt much but the bullet was hit on his leg. Adi said answering Maan and within next second Maan stormed towards the driver's room. Adi watched Maan and just rain behind him fearing that he may do something even if he had seen Maan controlling himself but it was too late for them as they saw the dead of the Driver lying on the bed while doctors speaking to themselves.

He is dead Mr. Shergill one of the doctors said as he sensed someone behind but more of it was to see angry MSK staring at the dead body. But he wasn't even harm Adi let a gasp leave his mouth as he tried to think hard. His neck was slit Mr. Shergill the doctor answered and Adi could not stop blaming himself for the lapse tat he did not think on all this and had some security for the driver. He was so hell worried for Yash and had been consoling his Nanima and Naina that it just did not get into his head and when it did he was too late for it.

Adi help the family with everything we can Maan ordered and walked out leaving Adi with the doctors but as soon as Maan was out he called someone and ordered on the phone. He walked once he finished the call towards the ICU. He looked through the glass window and probably broke down realizing that he was so close to lose his Dad whom he had been admiring throughout his life though they both were far different from each other. His tears did not seem to stop as he let them to wet his face but he did not blink even once as he could not let his eyes to drift from his Dad. He wanted to reach and cry hugging his Dad but he did not want his Dad to even sniff about his weakness when he was not well.

Maan he did not turn to see who it was as he knew she was here. I could not leave you all alone Maan he heard her say as she stepped forward and turned him. She wiped of his tears with a smile s she tried to stay strong but seeing him getting angry she said I could not let you all alone Maan.. jaanthi hoon tat you asked us not to get out of the mansion but how could I leave you alone when I knew wat Dad means to you Maan... and tats why Sweety is very possessive about you. He smiled sadly as he knew she was trying hard to lighten him up and trust me Maan, Dad is a strong man and he knows that his Maan needs him.. he knows tat though his Maan is not like him but he loves him so much that probably he will die if anything happens to his Dad and Dad does not like to see his Maan getting weak.

Wat if he can't make through it Geet he for the very first time said something after they had landed back. She too feared the same but she had to be strong for her Maan and her family. He will Maan... if you could make it for me than he will make it for you... Dad will Maan she said so confidently tat Maan just hugged her as tight as possible fearing for his Dad and probably this was the first time Geet had seen him so broken and showing his fear for his Dad rather than his love and baby.

Adi smiled from distance as he saw Geet comforting Maan and he too was shocked to see Maan so vulnerable. Even being his best friend Adi never knew this side of him though he had seen how he silently cried for Geet but this was all knew. He wiped his tears and made his way towards them with a cup of coffee tat he had brought for Maan.

Have this Adi forwarded the cup making Maan to stare at him. Geet smiled as she took the cup and nodded saying he will Adi and gave it to Maan who nodded for a no. You need it Maan she said with determined eyes and Maan could not ignore it. He sadly smiled staring at the door while Geet assured him pressing his hand you trust Dad na Maan. Maan nodded then just hold on to tat trust Maan and he will be back. He smiled as he sipped the coffee but his eyes did not leave the door. Geet called back home and informed Vicky she was fine and said that he would not worry about Maan as she was with him.

She was numb as her eyes stared at the screen trying to digest wat she heard and saw on the television. Dad a low painful moan escaped Annie's lips as she heard every word said on the television. Her mind was blocked as her heart started to beat faster for the very first time in her life. A sudden fear to lose something hit her hard as she realized that it was the news about her Dad being shot was being telecasted and like a wounded tigress she jumped out to reach for her phone but realized that she had none. She did not waste time and looked for the landline but there was not a single phone that she could use and suddenly she was hit by Yash's words he had spoken to her tat day.. If I loved them even an inch then my love for you was never less. You know wat god says that if you only love your children you can love other kids who are not blood related to you.. so my love to Pari and Geet proves that more than them I love my own daughter but shayad mera pyar kaafi nahi tha..Wahi galati ki maine tat I thought my daughter had my values but no she was blind with jealousy and selfishness that she could never see tat whom she was destroying was her own family.

Her eyes blinked and a tear fell down and another and another followed with many as she realized falling down on her knees. She had been restless ever since she had met Yash and his each word was pricking her and today it killed her like never before. She cried as loud as possible realizing that she had lost everything in this jealousy. Her heart sunk as she felt the heaviness in it making it shrink as if it was trying to devoid her of its presence but then something else hit her hard as she recollected everything that was happening to her ever since Rajveer was out of jail and then the marks on her body strike her so hard tat she felt she was being ripped into two pieces with her own guilt consuming her.
