Abhay, like your positivity here. Tere mooh mein ghee shakar- I have seen you have already been fed sweets in other posts but if there are any sweets left out please eat it on my behalf 😉

I also think the plan will back-fire for a few reasons:
- As you say, Shaguni Bai and Salim Chisti have predicted good times and changing times- Jodha being insulted is not changing times
- Whenever MA shares her plans openly to Resham and starts gloating early on, she fails- and she is already gloating on Ruqs. She has failed with Shivani and Ben weddding. When she does things on her own and spontaneously she succeeds- Ruqs MC and letter MU. CVs know we see a MU coming already so will thwart it- when we don't see it coming, they will make sure it happens.
- Jalal is now on Jodha's side- the Ben track was unbearable as even Jalal stood against Jodha- that will not be in the case now

Instead, I am imagining some cute scenes between Jodha and Jalal during the godh barai- he has to tease his MUZ on when is her turn 😉

@red I thought the same behena😆😳

Yes I saw that but it mentions ...

MUZ palace and palace rang mahl where salim was born ... I think this was for Akbars jodha

Turkish sultana was built for Ruqs ,but I think it was used by HB ( read it somewhere)

Jodh bai palace , is said to be built for jehangirs wife who was also jodh bai

( these guys had so many wives , obviously the names would clash plus these wives had more than one name to add to the confusion , specially the common names😊)

By the time salim married princess of jodhpur fatehpur sikri was already deserted...

so after that there is no chance for construction in FS...!...

Regarding HB using that Turkish Sultana house is also improbable due to foll. Reasons..

1. The location of that house is not in 'zenana' segment but very close to 'mardana' segment. I mean it was located near the male complex..

2. As per Badayuni's chronicles that house was used for religious meeting by learned men. And, a very important religious meeting was held in that house in 1575.
😊

P.S. - No offense. Just sharing some info. 😊

No offence at all Abhay your info is always welcome.

Was it that the buland darwaza 1601 was the only one that was constructed after FS was deserted in 1585?

Isn't the MUZ palace and kitchen near Turkish sultana palace ( is that also in the mardana )
Wasn't the ibadat khana used for religious debates.

I guess I will wait for your part 5 :) .

So, finally, i had to sit with my laptop, which i did not want to do.😆

Hmm. A counter for my claim of something being built in FS, after leaving it.😉😊
Though, i did not mean that exactly.😊

Ok. No problem, as i am back with answers..😎

***********************************************************************************************************

1.

Buland Darwaza contains, an inscription dated 1601 which announces the victory of Akbar over Khandesh, over the central arch, to the right. This inscription is partly in Arabic and partly in Persian. So, "some historians😆" feel that this was built in 1601.

But, if you read the Muntakhab-ut-Tawarikh by Badayuni, then he has mentioned that Akbar after the victory of Gujarat in 1572-73, erected this big Darwaza.😕

(This book contains Akbar's history till about 1594...So, you see this was written before 1601, and mentions Buland Darwaza.)

Why i remember this is because
, Badayuni has praised Akbar for killing infidels.🤢

(Did not want to write all this, but just to PROVE that this was erected in 1570's.😕.)

2.

Nopes.. That palace or kitchen does not stands in mardana section.
See this map..

The thing which says "MIRIAM". Near that you have kitchen.

And, the thing which says JODHBAI, is her main palace complex.😊

And, as i said earlier, Turkish Sultana House is near Mardana..

So, here it can be easily seen that, the Tukish Sultana House, which is near ANUP TALAO (see in picture), is near Mardana section. Infact, Turkish Sultana house is on North-East of this Anup Talao, making it even more close to MALE quarters.😕

It can be easily seen that, ANUP TALAO is on one side, near MALE quarters.

And, "MIRIAM" and "JODHBAI" structures are on another side..

Infact that Daftar Khana and Anup Talao side on right can be treated as Mardana section.

And, the other complex of MIRIAM, JODHBAI,etc. on left can be roughly taken as Zanana.

Also, if you can visualize then, bottom of Anup Talao, is a small rectangular box. That is location of Akbar's khawabgah. And, from here to "JODHBAI", structure there was a covered passage, connecting JODHBAI palace complex to Akbar's khawabgah.😉😃

Hope this clears the point..😊

***********************************************************************************************************

3.

Yes, Ibadat Khana was used for debates. But, what i meant was that, Turkish Sultana house was also used as an important religious place, and explicit documentation is given in chronicles, and also, it was used for repose purposes. Biggest thing is it's location close to Mardana quarters.😕

************************************************************************************************************

BTW, it would have been better had i written all this in my new thread.
Anyways, Hope this much, dispels any doubt ..!..😊

Shweta,

See carefully, i wrote this --->>>

Now, what has been mentioned in ASI archives is that, till FEW YEARS BACK, that passage was there. But, recently they have removed it, during some excavation, coz it was in a highly dilapidated state.😕. (I am trying to find the exact year, when was it removed.😊)

So, actually it was there, but now it is NOT, and this is RECORDED IN ASI ARCHIVES.😊

So, 1 THING IS ASSURED THAT THE PALACES OF AKBAR-MUZ WERE CONNECTED.👍🏼
