I think Jalal may have thought that Jodha is still uncomfortable with him to be in the same room; thus he did not intervene. Obviously he cares she is outside and that's why he was looking at her whether it was out of infatuation or care.

Maybe he did not care too much of her being outside. Let's not come to conclusions-just gotta wait for Monday.

*Indirectly Ruk is making Jalal think of Jodha, Just think about it, if she did sleep in the same room or whatever, Jalal wouldn't be thinking of her since she is there just maybe looking at her. The more you separate someone from a person, they will long more due to curiosity. This justifies today since they have started a new path after her taking the poison.
