How can Bani be termed 'Mentally ill'?

Call me stupid, for asking this question, as we all know BT / any other soap production displays 3/4 illogically portrayed stories..but STILL..

- First of all, how can Jai Walia testify against/for his wife...Correct me if I'm wrong,but I thought spouses were discouraged from testifying for/against their spouses in court? Or am I just talking the American legal system here? Am not really sure of India's legal system that's why..

- Secondly, how can just a "Witnesses' testimony" prove someone mentally ill? Since when did people with no background in psychology certify that a person is bad based on a few day's worth of experience, with no real trauma to back it up? Or are they trying to tell us, since Bani killed Saahil, she turned mentally ill, and hence these weird behaviors?😕

(I'm fed up of BT, for making every character mentally ill to be dangerously malicious/evil or obsessive..I mean like what they did to Tarun..first of all how does Tarun's behavior define OCD in any way? OCD may lessen with treatment and medications and all, but how does it stop? What are Tarun's compulsions and obsessions exactly? Married women are his obsessions and compulsions?)

- How can a qualified, intelligent judge issue a person to be sent to a mental assylum for FIVE years, without a psychiatrist's report? Um seriously, that's the most illogical thing I've ever heard..Five years are a long, long time, how can you submit someone to medications and treatment of a mental assylum without certified authority of them being admitted there?

- How is it proven Saahil has been ruthlessly murdered by Bani? Hello, the lawyer did not have the decency to provide solid reasons...Saahil I believe was murdered/if dead to have died of poison consumption right? Where is the poison bottle? Does the bottle have Bani's fingerprints on?

- Where is Bani's lawyer? Fine, JW was helpless (Although I fail to believe that) Couldn't Rano, Ranveer, Aditya hire a lawyer for Bani? Or am I terribly mistaken and Bani did have a lawyer, he just did not appear physically to defend Bani's case?

- Even when Bani was admitted in the mental assylum, no psychiatrist appeared to even check her up? How can a pregnant women be putten in the same room as people who are mentally ill (no saying they will definitely harm her, but ther mental state of mind, may turn violent depending on the disorder they have) Yes, the woman is supposedely guilty, but the unborn children shouldn't have to suffer for that..

- Was that a police station/something else? A supposed criminal runs right under their noses, and they take minutes before they realize this, so much that a woman carrying two newborns and who is weak can beat all of them till outside??😕

I know unfortunately it's a BT production, and sadly other serials too seem to follow the same route...but I can''t help it, every time I see things like that...anything related to psychology or mentally ill people, I begin to stress my nerves😆

A successful businessman, who built an entire empire on his own, just does this...Thankfully Ranveer has changed, but still the three Macbeth witches are still hovering near him.. Hopefully he won't and am guessing he won't be foolish enough to sign anything as of now without reading its contents..
