In Star Plus' Mahabharat Next Week,Kunti unknowingly divides Draupadi into all of her five sons. Everyone shocked. Draupadi walks off. As a solution to the problem, the Pandav brothers decide that they will accept solitude as a way of life and Arjun will marry Draupadi. Arjun not being able to accept such a huge sacrifice from his brother, in turn asks Draupadi to marry his eldest brother Yudhistir and become the queen of Hastinapur. Draupadi shocked at the solution Arjun has come up with.Draupadi notices the five stones of Dharma which Krishna gifts her while leaving Panchaal & with much difficulty accepts Kunti's mistake as her destiny & tells them that she is ready to marry all five Pandavs. Everyone shocked at her decision, when Drupad who had just arrived says this is impossible & declares the marriage null, he takes Draupadi back with him to Panchaal.
Kunti realizes she has destroyed the girl's life forever and breaks down into tears, when Ved vyas comes to them and tells them that they need to sort out the whole situation with a cool & stable mind.Draupadi comes back to Panchaal palace and as she looks at the wedding mandap, all recent memories come back in flashes to haunt her. Ved vyas tells the Pandav brothers to make sacrifices on their part too as Draupadi has herself taken a big decision, also the people of Hastinapur & on a large the whole Aryavarta need a rule of Righteousness (Dharm). Yudhishtir decides that they will come out of their hiding and all of them will marry Draupadi. Pandavs arrive at Panchaal where Drupad is all set to attack them, Krishna stops him and reveals they are actually the mighty Pandavs dressed in brahmin's clothes. Drupad shocked.Krishna makes Drupad realize that whatever is happening with Draupadi, is happening because of Drupad's own mistake. He reminds Drupad of the harsh destiny he himself asked for his daughter from the gods. Drupad breaks down on this. Krishna promises Draupadi that whenever in life she needs her sakha, he will come to her rescue.While on their way back to Hastinapur Shakuni & Duryodhan plan not to tell about Pandavs to anyone in the family and get Duryodhan's Rajya abhishek done before Yudhishtir returns.
Ved vyas sets rule for Draupadi & Pandav's marriage, Draupadi & Pandavs together take an oath that Draupadi will stay married for one year to each brother starting from Yudhishtir and no other brother will be allowed to enter her room other than her current husband. In a montage we see the unusual wedding takes place.As the five brothers put the crown (Churamani) on Draupadi, Vidur enters the scene and is shocked to see this. Later after Krishna makes Vidur understand the unsual situation under which the Pandavs had to take that decision. In Hastinapur Duryodhan creates a scene by doing Ashwamedha yagya, where he is about to take a horse's life (which is a huge crime), when Dhritarashtra tries to stop him, Duryodhan insults his own father that he is too weak to be a king. Duryodhan tells Dhritarashtra to take up solitude & make him the King of Hastinapur. Dhritarashtra shocked and hurt.
