CV's had left the main things which needs to be described:-

1. Draupadi's past birth story even not discussed or told by anybody. I thought vyasa would do so to enlighten pandvas instead he was doing some rajneeti talks

2. Draupadi's boon of lifelong virginity was not depicted that she would remain pious even after consummation. She had boon of regaining virginity after bath(ritusanan).It was changed to the fire sacrifice. Was it really there?

3. One thing i don't understand that Bheema gave her promise that he wud not bring his wife in hastinapur what about others. Is this promise given by bheema only or by all pandvas.Other wives of arjun like ulupi and chitrangada remained at their father's home after marriage. . I don't know about subhdra had lived in hastinapur or not?? Please any1 knw abt it.

as far as i know
Draupathi will walk through agni like a sort of agni samarpan after each year... n thus gain her virginity!!!
have also heard the ritu snan u said!!! (diff versions)
n only subhadra was allowed with her!! others stayed at their father's palaces!!!!
looks like the same with other's wives too!!!

Draupadi only allowed Subhadra, since, well Krishna is her best friend so ...

Virginity is something not regained.Its actually your virgin or your not ...

being in relationship ,you cant say ur single😆

She is doing that agni tapasya to make her mind to disconnect with her past relationship ,to make herself mentally fresh ,pure,ready for next relationship with another man,well this is as per my understanding.

First point agreed they should have mentioned aboout her previous would have justified Draupadi's decision more

second point Draupadi was to pass through fire after end of each year to regain her virginity before she goes to the next brother

third one i dont think this is part of the epic

There was no such vow. Bhima didn't bring Hidimba to Indraprastha/Hastinapur, since she was a rakshashi. But Valandhara was defintely brought to Indraprastha. Bhima approached her father, impressed him w/ his wrestling skills & entertained him, and got her hand in marriage.

In the Ashramvasika Parva, where all the wives of the Pandavas are mentioned, Bhima's (aside from Draupadi) are omitted for a reason. The Pandava women served Gandhari like servants, but Bhima hated Dhritarashtra & Gandhari and was not okay w/ them being served by his womenfolk. Implicit therefore in mention of Valandhara's omission there is that Bhima could/would have told her not to serve Gandhari, and in case he did, Draupadi couldn't have trumped such an order to Valandhara by her hubby.

Well said...Virginity cannot be regained... 😃

I guess this agni snan and turning sudh for the next husband has been interpreted by some as regaining virginity...😆
