Not likely. Unless something big happens like they lose something of value to them because of their behavior, then yeah. But for that, you need feelings and compassion to actually feel the pain and realize the need to change. As we grow older we learn all this.. If you guys are in your teens then you prob wldnt understand this concept so soon :)

It's hard to know whom he holds real close at heart to, whom he values and listens to.. So far it sorta seemed like Ishaan. His mom tho he listens to her, she isn't very helpful in terms of having a positive affect on him or being a positive change.. As she herself is negative minded.

And he cares nothing abt urmi, only sees her as good for bed. So hence, to bring abt a change in him, HE needs to realize that he needs to change, no one can magically bring about a change in him, suddenly ! It wldnt be realistic.

I agree men like sam do not change overnight and if urmi tries that with her love..looks tough. What I feel is people like sam can be reformed if their ego is hurt. If urmi leaves him or divorces him or decides to marry somebody else...or becomes s successful business woman with help of Trish to give sam takkar...he is going to be very very hurt. How can a girl leave husband like Samrat? or how can urmi becomes famous name in Zansi other than himself? will be his thoughts and due to his ego, sam might change to get urmi back.

Yes, he might change then, but then it would just be a power of ego a challenge to win her over.. And her giving in would be his win. She has to hurt his 'manliness' baaad, for him to even realize a change is needed in him! As for the change that his fans are hoping to see, it is compassion and love for urmi. Now that change would be an interesting thing to see, and it is expecting a lot, knowing his thinking and personality. To develop this is hard. It's often impossible, only till everything that he owns which gives him pride and strokes his ego is stripped off of him only THEN he can reflect back on everything and possibly look to reform and realize, only way to get it all back what is lost, is through compassion... :)

I definitely do not want to see Urmi reform him and stay with him. He is gone way past that and does not deserve Urmi's forgiveness.

I would rather see him remarry someone like Trisha who will burst his bubble and transform him into a decent man (if that's even possible)

Like most daily soaps, they will probably show a gigantic difference and change in Samrat's personality...resulting in Urmi forgving him for all his past actions and blah blah blah.

To be honest, people don't change overnight. And they don't change drastically...and more importantly, they cannot change unless they want to change themselves. So I have a feeling that the makers of the DAK are simply going to shove the usual nonsense down our throats.

But I agree with u. People like Samrat are real and do exist within society. And I also think Mohit's portrayal of Samrat is praise worthy. But I am really beginning to dislike the drama because it is so typical. Unless Urmi sees sense, the story gets a thumbs down from me.

Well said!! 👏

Urmi's character is shown to have no self respect. True we get blinded in love and vulnerable but it's high time she realizes the truth than being stuck in her own fantasy land with him, which isn't even real or true!

Urmi should do more than stand up to him. She should stand up, and leave his ass, and move on.
