***Yes true, but according to law, if that person is not living for more than 2 years with spouse, then their marriage stands nullified

But if a spouse is declared dead and his or her dead body is not found (Its called Habeus Corpus or something!) then the spouse who is alive has to wait for 7 years to remarry!😃

So now, if Ekta follows this logic, then Pia can't marry Jai till either Bani's body / remains is found (Which obviously it won't be) or the 7 year term lapses!

Strange law, but this is the way it is, not only in India but followed almost all over the World!

MT,

If Ekta followed the laws, then the adoption papers in today's episode would have needed to be signed by both Jai and Bani, not just Bani alone. So until Jai signed the papers, Pia was not a legal custodian of the child and would not have been able to take them away.

Maybe along with a creative team, Ekta should hire a lawyer and a doctor to give us the correct scenarios!

***Anyhow, Bani found dead or alive, JW will not marry Pia, because now he is back to his RB avtaar and he had agreed to marry her only because she would prove Bani as a killer, now when she is not around, what and whom will she prove 😡 ? And in this avtaar, I m sure she cant even go near him 😆

I know what MT is talking about, I don't know the name of that law, it essentially states that a person is declared dead if you don't find a dead body with seven years!

But looked up Habeas corpus and found this meaning, there is another meaning for HC which is more political in nature...it probably is also used in the above context!

Habeas corpus can also mean that the imprisoning authority of an alleged murderer 'should have the body' to prove that there has indeed been a murder at all, but this usage is rare...

OK I'm waaayyyy too late! but what can i say you all have shamelessly discussed pretty much everything...

I know what MT-di and Sheena is talking bout....and frankly i can def. see that Happening... HC...yep that is the term to define what will happen now...Pia is still gonna remain in WM through that blackmailing...so this should be interesting...
oh and the good scenes i can't wait...so MT di i'm waiting for your updates now...i hope we will get to see them...

As for bani coming back as a new character, i can see it happening...like i saw her believed to be dead to the world but not to herself...but the herself part i was proven wrong...

I can't wait for today's episode...
