Beautiful post. The emotions you described are awesome & so apt. But I don't know why everyone is saying that the doll didn't mean anything to Paro. Ofcourse,it meant hell of a lot to her. When she was saying to mami that she must have lost it somewhere she very well remembered giving it to that boy in the bus but because she didn't want mami to know this so she lied. If that incident didn't mean anything to her then she wouldn't have remembered all the details so clearly.
