Sonam Kapoor Turns Dating Guru for Arjun Kapoor.

Arjun Kapoor recently opened up about his equation with cousin Sonam Kapoor and says she has quite an influence in his life.

Though she doesn't really interfere in his professional life, when it comes to girlfriends, it's a different story altogether!

Arjun says, "I have to take Sonam's aashirwaad before I even think of making a girlfriend or speaking to a girl!"

The reason behind this overprotective attitude is because she doesn't want him to get hurt. He adds that he has to get her validation on any female in his life.

He says, "Sonam will say, 'I have given my opinion, now you take a call."

Sonam also apparently checks on him regularly and even offers to send over meals so that he eats properly. A far cry from when they were in school.

He says, "During our school days, she would use me as her elder brother as per her convenience!"
