The Vigil Idiot: Heartless

Where do I begin with this masterclass in storytelling? For one thing, it stars the family Suman - monoexpressive son Adhyayan as hero Aditya and upcoming youth icon dad Shekhar as Dr. Sam. It is a remake of the 2007 Hollywood film Awake, which I would usually consider a good thing because there's less chances of screwing up if you already have a blueprint to work from, right? Wrong! Now, I haven't actually watched the original, but an IMdB rating of 6.5 tells me that there are some people out there who found the film watchable, at the least. Heartless is about a 6.5 for me too...if the ratings were out of 100.
