That's what I assumed happened but until we see one of them having a more complete flashback I can't be 100% certain (although I am about 99% sure that is how it happened)...

Not entirely sure why she left but I think it's most likely due to Koki's words or behavior towards her. Hopefully we see more of the reason for her departure in the next week.😊
