This thought has been in my mind for a long time...

How could Asad forgive his father so quickly and so easily.

Fine, he did not kill Zoya's mum. But the reason why he got trapped by razia and siddiqui in the first place is because of his association with Shireen. If he didn't have a secret nikah with shireen in the first place behind dilshads back then he wouldn't have known razia and siddiqui and wouldnt have ended up falling in their trap in the first place, hence he wouldnt have needed to leave nd completely forget his two kids and wife. Therefore i think that this is all Rashid's fault because it ll started because he had an affair wirh shireen, not siddiquis or razias.

What also bothers me is the fact that how can rashid not even think about or visit his kids in the seventeen years that he was away from them. He didn't even bother to look back once at all the pain and difficulty that his wife and kids were going through.

Also, fine, you couldn't talk to your other wife and kids because you were trapped by two people, but it doesnt mean that you sit or stand there while they are being offended and disgraced by other people, even though you know that youre in the wrong and not them. It shows that he really didnt care that much about them because if he did he would of atleast defended them like he did wgen nikhat was being insulted. Being away from your kids doesnt mean that you defy your responsibilities as a father.

Also if you did not want to leave your wife and kids and you felt guilty about causing the fire then you should have confessed to the police so that razia and gaffur didnt need to blackmail you to leave your wife and kids. You would have faced the consequences like a true man and wouldnt have needed to leave your wife and kids atleast then they wouldnt think that you abandoned them.

Also, if rashid loved asad so much why did he separate asad from ayaan during the whole nikhats engagement fiasco.

It doesnt make sense for asad to forgive him so quickly because rashid shouldnt have betrayed his mum in the first place by marrying shireen behind her back in the first place.

I also dont get why badi bi supported rashid the whole time and didnt think of her other grandchildren and other daughter in law.

Its rashid who needs to ask for forgiveness (i know he cant speak right now), its like he doesnt feel the need of asking forgiveness for betraying them in the first and then abondoning them.

Why did asad need to ask for forgiveness when he didnt even do anything wrong?

I agree with every word. I hate Rashid! I hate how he thinks of himself as a victim. I hate how the creative teams depict him as a victim. According to me he is a spineless cheat. He blames GaZia for not getting his first choice. He wanted to have his fun with Shireen, but have a family with Dilshad. I hate the fact he thinks he can have it all like he actually deserves it. NOW WHAT I HATE IS THE FACT THAT GUL AND CREATIVE TEAM WANTS TO GIVE HIM EVERYTHING. I can never forgive Rashid for cheating, being spineless (not fighting against his wrongdoers), and being indecisive (like he can't live with his choices). I don't even think of GaZia has his wrongdoers but people have pointed out to me that I am too harsh.

Agree with you 100%.I was wondering about this.When KSg had not left the show he was angry with rashid.in fact he said that he won't visit him even if he dies.He moved into Sm bcoz dilshad asked him to but maintained the stance of not forgiving him.According to the show,he forgave after rsashid wrote his property in asad's name.Now AAk was never intersted in Rashid's property.So his forgiving him is weird.

Agreed RAshid was manipulated by Razia,but id she ask him to get involved with shireen.that was his only doing.Gaffur and Razia protected shireen's intersts.Also rashid told dilshad about his affair when ayan was already 2-3 yrs.old and shireen had left him.At that time dilshad was also pregnant with najma.So he was carrying on with two women at the same time.

Because of rashid asad had to become an adult overnight.He had to help his mother do jobs be a father figure to najma and lost his childhood.

even is his teenage and college years he did'nt have any fun and became serious as he had no time .In the 17 yrs. asad was head of the house.when dilshadwas insulted he was silent.It was asad who always came to his mom's rescue.

Now he is sick.He came to KV and wanted dilshad to live with him but he never gave any explanations or asked forgiveness from Asad.

Badi BI is a selfish woman.She knows which side of the bread is buttered and behaves accordingly.when rashid left dilshad she came to SM as they were rich and asked rashid to forget dilshad.During the Zoyan track she kept calling zoya bahu just to get even with razia not once considering Asad ,ayan and humera's feelings.Now she is siding with Asad as he isthe owner of the entire property.She is cunning.

I think Rashid has been let off too lightly
