So so so... familiar!

That's what I kept thinking when they first revealed that Tanveer was married to Gaffur. I kept thinking that I've seen something like this before... but where?

And then it struck me! Saat Phere! Which just happens to be RV's old show! So read on if you've watched it before haha.

So in Saat Phere, if you remember, Tara couldn't conceive, so she sought the help of her sister Urvashi. Urvashi agreed to be a surrogate mother, but secretly she did it all in order to trap Tara's husband Brijesh for herself instead. But she failed and got kicked out.

Then suddenly, she came back! They go on to show that she married Brijesh's Kakasa, and thus became Brijesh's Kakisa, just to wreak more havoc in their lives. Familiar... no?

Tanveer first runs after Asad, then comes back as his freaking saas.

Urvashi first runs after Brijesh, then comes back as his freaking Kakisa!

Or maybe this is a common phenomenon in other shows too hahaha. Can't get the guy? Marry someone from the generation above him and become his elder instead :p

i used to watch SP off n on! never was addicted! so i forgot haha.. thanks for this post.. kinda can remember :P

Haha I watched it on and off too, but I remember this because the actress who played Urvashi played it to perfection! Was watching for her :p

That means this is common in serials. . And that makes the weirdness of Tannu becoming Asad's step MIL less weird. .😆

I watched SP not regularly but I did not remember this 😆

I was abt to make dis post but u made it😆. Urvashi was divorced wid 2 children. One thing was illogical dat even after commiting a murder she was shown out of jail later n reentered 2nd time.

Oh I don't remember any of that for some strange reason haha. Looks like QH isn't alone in showing illogical stuff with regards to their villains then :p
