Miilee meets flood-affected school kids

School badly hit

According to the channel, with the Ganesh festival underway, this was a small gesture from Miilee to cheer the little ones. Shivshrusti Municipal School was selected as it was badly hit during the July 26 floods, as it is very near the swollen Mithi river.

UNICEF involved

Mona spent a lot of time with the kids. Along with Star Plus, the Rotary Club of Mumbai Downtown, held medical check-up camps in the school premises for the kids (dental, eye check-up and general checks) along with UNICEF, who shared with the school teachers and children, simple ways to observe cleanliness and hygiene.

Miilee club

Miilee was chosen because she essays the character of a young destitute, who, despite her hardships, spreads happiness and laughter wherever she goes.

This event also saw the launch of the Miilee Friends Club for underprivileged and destitute children, who can interact with Miilee and bring joy into their lives.
