I'm a feminist,yes. But I have to be honest. Although being one and despite sounding like a hypocrite, when I watch a romantic soap, I admit, I find it hot, when the guy has the upper hand. Not in a bad sense, though. Shows like Iss pyaar ko kya naam doon and Geet had managed to enhance the hotness quotient up with characters like Arnav & Maan. Strong, powerful, exploitative, rich men that protect their naive, pretty wives. (Great to watch, when in fictions. lol)

But something about the dialogue above, had me in a spell.

That look, that poise, that determination, has gotten me more excited than ever.

Because, this is no ordinary girl.

This was proclaimed by Aaliya Haider, now turned, Aaliya Zain Abdullah.😳

The Lioness of the show & the to be Princess, of Zain's heart.

So far, neither Zain nor Aaliya had heartily accepted their Nikaah. But tonight, the irony is,despite Zain having asked for a divorce, he only ended up forcing Aaliya to accept the marriage, in a way more than ever before. Because, for the first time, she'd reverted back to what her Ami had taught her and consulted the Quran regarding the same.

Well, watch out, Zain! The Lioness is about to roar.

Nice post! :D

Yeah, even I love it when the hero has the upper hand but in this show, I never want Zain to have the upper hand because Aliya has that fire in her and the way she spoke that dialogue was marvellous!

Aliya Haider might have been quiet, but AZA apne pati pe gayi hai and she won't bow down to anyone! :D

Preetika was good in that scene...
Her whole body language changed and her jhansi ki rani pose is awesome...hehe...

Preetika did a great job in the second part.. The change in emotions was so well depicted...

I like guys having a domination in fiction, but not to the extent of manhandling the girl. He has to be tender with her while showing his domination and that tenderness shows the way he touches. Even if his face is full or rage and hatred, the way he holds her, pulls her to him should be the softest and delicate of touches.

And I think Harshad has carried that off well.👏👏 I have not seen him him man handling aaliya like that, even during the scene when she is ironing his shirt. You could see he was only holding her arm behind her back, but not enough to hurt her or bruise her. I hope it stays that way.

And woww...so many words for Aaliya today...Lioness, sherni, tigeress...I dont know if she looked that fierce for me, but I saw a lot of courage which I think is different. She cares for him or she wants to care for him, so she has decided to take the upper hand. She has made this decision with a lot of courage, to face the unknown accusations which will be thrown at her in her coming days.

I did wonder why Aaliya cares for him after all that he spoke about her. But may be, putting myself in her shoes, all she wanted was his approval to move ahead with their life. Marriage is for life. She could either stay bitter in it or try to make a happy life out of it. And she chose their happiness for everyone else and themselves. But for them, Zain has to support her, trust her. I feel such tenderness for her that she cares for him so much. I wont call it love. Love is yet to happen...
