I think it's time we stopped associating the word widow with Paro!! She's a human being with feelings and emotions!!! Every other topic is in a way judging her - clothes, behaviour and now Holi.
I'm v saddened to see my fellow broad minded 21st century women with such narrow mindedness.
C'mon ladies !!!

ohk ...i didnt know dat dis kind of ques was also going on in dis forum ...
gud critical point , i wouldnt be suprised hearing dis kind of topic too in dis forum wen paros choli was such a prob for some

chalo as far the topic of widow is concerned , dis typ of situation is handled by older women of d villages, paro is dead for everybody in her village n where she is right now she can not tell nybody dat she is a widow n wats her actual identity is otherwise her people will get killed as stated by rudra
a gal of 18 got married in a week tym , saw her to be husband for a day ,n felt lyk married fr 3 hrs may be n den she got widowed...she lost her identity , though she is heart broken dat his husband got killed but i dont think she can feel d pain of wife's who loose der husband as those wives hav spent a quality tym with der husbands know d meaning of marriage n husband ...whereas paro is still align to all those feelings ...n to top dat she had no clothes for days apart from her bridal dress , n now dat she hav some she dont hav ny choice as she is der as a fiance of rudra ...so how can a too be bride were colorless clothes

dis was d logic of d story

now cuming to actual world ...d ppl who asked dis ques , r u guys really from 21st century , i really doubt dat !!!!

Bravo!
Shame on us that we claim to live in the 21st century. Is a widow's identity only her dead husband? Does she have no right to live her life...why does a widow have to adorn herself with white or black clothes? Why does she have to lose the color in her life? Are we still is the age where Sati is performed where a widow is forced to die in her husband's pyre?

It's unfortunate that people are even discussing about such things. Can you please elaborate about what's going on about holi?

I have nothing against the poster but she posted on whether Paro would play holi since she's a widow. The poster was more into the romantic part about holi but post after post mentioning her status as a widow is getting on my nerves.🤢

I have not read any posts on the point but now when I think the Character Paro herself said( rather thinks) that she is a widow and cannot be in the suhagan's clothes anymore and considering place where she was brought up is so backward and definitely not 21st century, I think the point of her being a widow will be explored by the creatives and so making it a valid point to discuss.

I personally think that being a widow is just a marital status of an individual and nothing more. Society has no right imposing what she can or cannot do.

Sorry I didn't mean to offended anyone with my Holi topic, I love Paro and knows she's a human being who been through alot recently. It was just a question about if they will be a Holi track in RR? We like it or not Paro doesn't love Rudra because according to her Varun is innocent. She consider herself as a Widow.

i felt all those barbarian actions / thoughts are over in this modern world. but was shocked to see so many young people discussing this. now even widoow remarriages are common and does not raise an eyebrow in inida here modern girls who are net savvy are discussing these things like old 50s ladies. thank god they did not ask her to go for a sati😡 get a life girls. everyone is a human being and has a definite life to lead however they want. infact my mother became a widow at an young age and i have seen her going through all turmoils in life given by this society. no one has any right to comment on others how to lead their lives.
