'I am sorry Arnav, but that was her decision,' Aman said sounding completely disappointed at the news. Arnav shook his head in disbelief, 'I am not going to believe it until I hear it from her own mouth! This was just in a written interview. I want to hear her own words!' Seeing Arnav's devastating face Aman knew this wasn't going to just slip by. Solid proof was something Arnav always looked for and this situation was no different.
'Alright Arnav then call her, and ask her. You guys talk right, so ask her and she will tell you the same thing as the interview.'
Fuming Arnav got up from his chair, 'fine I will and I will prove you all wrong. I know her better than any of you!' He slammed the door walking out in frustration, furiously sending her texts.
'Is it true that you don't want to work with me?
He pressed sent.
Something didn't feel right.
Arnav knew that she was always straightforward. She always made sure everyone got her answers straight out, but her answer this time didn't feel right. It couldn't be her; he knew it. Confusion wasn't something Arnav was fond of, and that is why he was going to get to the bottom of this soon.

It has been 2 hours already, still no reply what so ever from her. That's when he decided he have had it with waiting. Patience wasn't something he was always great at so he did what he always did best.
Drive around like a maniac right to her apartment.
Slamming his car door shut he ran up the stairs, thudding along the way gaining some tenants attention at the noise. Running his hands through his hair, Arnav knocked on her door impatiently. The click of the lock caught his attention, and the door opened wide. Her beautiful face emerged, dressed in her adorable 'Harry Potter snitches' pyjama's. A shocked expression flashed through her huge brown eyes at the sight of him.
'Arnav.. what are you doing here at 11:00 in the night?,' she asked in awe, a little awkward at the same time. He glared at her, 'we need to talk,' he said ignoring her question, and walked inside her apartment, pushing past her.
She sighed and closed the door.
'Arna', she began, but he cut her off.
'What the hell Khushi Kumari Gupta! I texted you so long ago, and no reply.'
Khushi looked at the floor unable to face his eyes, 'I have been busy Arnav... And I didn't see your text...'
He let out a mocking laugh, 'don't lie to me Khushi! Dammit what the hell is happening to you? I have bollywood movies, and I STILL make time for you! I still want to hang out with you, but you always say, 'oh I am busy.' BULL SHIT KHUSHI. YOU'RE AVOIDING ME. In fact what about that bloody interview? You said you don't want to work with me! WHAT IS THAT EVEN SUPPOSED TO MEAN.'
'Arnav stop screaming this is an apartment building,' she whispered in a hush tone, avoiding the subject. He walked forward and grabbed her by the shoulders gently.
'Khushi answer me. What is that supposed to mean? Why are you avoiding me?'
She tried to get out of his grasps, but he held on tightly.
'I need an answer NOW.'
'LET ME GO ARNAV. I AM TIRED THAT'S WHY SO JUST LEAVE ME,' she finally screamed losing her paitence with him. All the frustration flooding out of her body, clashing with his own anger. He leaned more closer towards her, searching for her eyes. The beautiful eyes that was always a window to her true emotions. He always knew what she was thinking just by looking in to them. Yet this time she kept hiding those eyes from him.
A secret was hidden from him.
'Why don't you want to work with me? I thought we were best friends.. Do you hate me?,' his voice suddenly dropped to a painful whisper. Tears formed at her tear ducts at his broken voice. Gathering her strength she pushed him away with full force.
'Because I want to explore new ventures,' she said trying her best to sound confident, and firm, but it came out in a stutter.
'LIES,' Arnav screamed, 'ALL LIES. There is something more to do this! I WANT THE TRUTH KHUSHI KUMARI GUPTA. And I want it NOW.'
'NO. JUST LEAVE ME ALONE,' Khushi screamed back, finally letting the tears drop. Arnav grabbed her again by the shoulders, 'NO. I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU ALONE. I WANT THE TRUTH DAMMIT.'
'YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!'
'TRY ME.'
'NO.'
'KHUSHI.'
'ARNAV.'
'SAY IT.'
'FINE. I LOVE YOU. ARE YOU HAPPY NOW!'
The minute she yelled out those words, his lips came crashing down on her own. Furiously he began to kiss her, refusing to let her breathe. His arms wrapped tightly around her, pulled her down with him to the couch; completely engulfed in each other's embrace. It took a moment for Khushi to snap out of her shock, but eventually she responded eagerly as him, and they continued to kiss.

'It took you long enough,' he whispered to her ears, smiling. She sighed and embraced him tighter, her head comfortably laid on his chest. 'How did you know?' she asked him curious. He shrugged, 'I can read your eyes...'
Suddenly she got out of his embrace feeling very insecure.
'Khushi what's wrong?,' Arnav asked concerned. Her eyes met with his own, 'but do you love me...?,' He shook his head and pulled her in to his arms again. 'Why do you think I was going mental without your presence in my life. Of course I love you, you crazy girl. I fell for you in 3 months in to IPK, but of course I kept it hidden because I too was afraid...'
A bright smile spread across her beautiful face at his answer. She gently pecked his lips, 'now what happens Arnav?' He caressed her smooth face, 'nothing needs to happen. There's nothing different really. Our relationship will be the same, but the only best exception is that I can kiss you when I ever I want. And also we belong to each other.'
She laughed, 'the fans will be thrilled.'
'Our fans are mental, but thanks to them we got another project together, which you refused before, ' he said, glaring mockingly. 'I am sorry... I thought if I ran away the feelings would go away,' her eyes down casted in shame. Gently he tipped her chin up to meet his eyes.
'Don't you ever try that do you understand? Or I will make our fans mob you, and prison you somewhere close to me so that you can't run away from me ever!'
'And knowing them I won't be surprised if they actually did,' Khushi said laughing, and she pulled him for another kiss.
