Actually, this poses a double dilemma in my opinion. Raunak obviously has committed a terrible crime and needs to be exposed and punished. But now, Naren has behaved violently with Ankita. Pushing her so that she fell down. I guess it can be said that he pushed "at her" and didn't mean to knock her down..but he didn't seem to care. And he did shove her, not the chair.
So now to see Ankita and Naren back together we are just supposed to explain away his violence towards her? Oh, he is unstable (well ...anyone hurting a woman isn't too stable to begin with) oh he is just mad oh he didn't mean it, oh he won't do it again. Wrong.Physical violence against women has been a trademark of Ekta no matter who the characters are. Even Arjun kind of rough handles Purvi and I think it's really awful. Manav pushed Archu against the wall and hurt her yet we are supposed to just overlook it. Oh he didn't mean it. Of COURSE HE MEANT IT. He was angry at her. He wanted to hurt her. The message given is that it is ok for men to lose their temper and physically hurt women. So it's how it is in India? Just a picture of reality? This. is. NOT. ok. NOT in the slightest.đđźđđźđđź Even more so in a society where it is been the pattern. Violence against women isn't ok just because it's "always been this way"... I'm pretty shocked at what is found acceptable.
