There's a nasty rumour making the rounds that Karan Malhotra might junk Shuddhi featuring Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead. For those inclined to believe this tongue-wagging, don't. Apparently, Malhotra's third film will be an adaptation of Amish Tripathi's The Immortals Of Meluha. No prizes for guessing that this film will also feature Hrithik Roshan in the main lead.

How difficult is it for the producer of the film or director to come on camera

and clarify the sitauation of Shuddhi? Hmm? Is it delayed? Is it shelved?

I hv an idea even they themselves DONT KNOW. Forget others.

But if Immortals of Meluha is being made, I cant think of a better hero than

Hrithik to play a mythological character...

and Yami Gautam or Deepika Sonakshi to play female leads Although

Deepikas lingo might be iffy. Shraddha Kapoor is suitable too lookswise

and has acting chops.

Yep in the book Sati was a widow when Shiva meets her for the first time. And then it is later revealed that she also had a son (Ganesha) from her earlier marriage and he was minimum 15-16 yrs old in first book. Although Sati was unaware of his existence. So in no way any actress below 30 could play the role of Sati.
