some people have mentioned that kaajjal has a simple story which is not a strong point. well, I agree that the story is simple and probably one dimensional, but isn't that why we all like this show soo much. I mean how many times in this forum we have talked about, we love this serial because it isn't a show with a man having 2 illegal wives, or an illegitimate child, or a woman with a hubby and a haunting past, and silly things like these.
To me, the beauty of this show is its simplicity and focus. I personally am tired of serials with 10 focuses at a time and none is done justice to. It's like the scriptwriters play with our minds and our emotions. Most of us start watching a serial for a love story that sparks in it, and than once we are attached to it, the writers add 10 different stories and loose the essence of that one story which actually grabbed our attention.
The good thing about Kaajjal according to me is its focus on Kaajjal and Dev. More diversity could have been added to the love story of kaajjal and dev by adding exciting sequences and showing a personality contrast in a passionate and romantic way, but somehow I have to give it to the writers of this serial as well. I mean, for how long we would have liked to watch the same scenes and sequences between dev and kaajjal. At some point of time, we would have said, get them married and get it over with ... isn't it? I think the twist here is a very solid reason to grip our attention once again. And this time we are much more eager and excited. Is he dev, is he not dev, and many more questions. Although this is a very old tactic of stretching a serial, but now is when the real job the writers come into action.
We all want Raju to be Dev and I am sure, we have tried our level best through this forum to tell the Kaajjal writers that we will not accept anyone but Dev. no Raju rangeela or anyone else. So if this is Dev, here we start with another series of romantic hits and miss. Both being attracted to each other, but Kaajjal would stay away because this is not Dev, and Dev will stay away because of the fear of Mahadasha. But I would like the writers to tell us at least if this is Dev or not. Otherwise, I have to tell them, don't make the mistake of making Kaajjal fall for Raju, we don't want that. I mean it's not about what we want; it's about LOVE and FAITH IN GOD, and inst that what Kaajjal serial is all about. To me, if u have Faith in God, and True Love in your heart, you will win. That's what Faith is all about, and kaajjal scriptwriters, please keep the respect of this Faith that u have shown in this Girl. Somehow many of us relate to that Faith, and seeing kaajjal win, will definitely strengthen our faiths as well. For every single experience, oberseravtion, and situation plays a vital role in further strengthening a person's faith and Belief in God.
So coming back to the initial post, I think, the story is pretty gripping, or else we would not have been taking so much time out to write. It's all about where they are going to take this story for here? For me till today, hats off to the Kaajjal team, they have shown love, anger, passion, attraction, and madness in a whole new light. And Apoorva and Surveen have captured it soo beautifully on screen that words are just not enough to express.
To the Kajjal decision makers, please keep up this passion and romance, and don't take the true Dev out of this serial. We are with you if Dev is with us in this show.
