Why Laila is not the one for Rudra.

So here are those pesky little details from the TV land that spells out- why Laila is not the one for Rudra ( Apart from the obvious, ie that Sanaya is the Lead of this show)

Lets start at the very beginning:

1) The childhood connection: Rudy boy and Paro bhaisa have the typical childhood connect where she who lost everything (her parents) gave away her only priced possession to him just to bring a smile on his face. And he who lost his mother and his beliefs in family and marriage received a bridal doll from a sweet girl. even then Paro bhaisa's selflessness astonished him. While laila was maybe somewhere learning some of her killer dance moves.

2) Paro dreams of Rudy. she has the bollywood ingredient of seeing her soul mate in her dreams...uh...cough...cough...i mean in her nightmares. Rudra doesnt dream...does he even sleep??...Laila definitely seems to get lost in her LaLa land sometime where she is the queen and Rudra her king, right before Rudy boy kicks her out of his bed and his room.

3) Laila is very clingy and seems to chase after Rudra. She doesnt realize that her aggressive behavior is a big turn off for Rudra. he associates aggressive women with loose women and he doesnt trust such women nor will he ever make the mistake of falling for one ( his mother is a constant reminder). While Paro bhaisa makes our Rudy boy chase after her (ofcourse he does it for his own official reasons but she doesnt make it easy for him).

4) Rudra is a man whose soul is on constant fire. He is a man who has wounds and they do hurt deep within him. For him silence is not just a solace but also therapeutic and spiritual. Laila prods him trying to break his silence while she prattles around him to get his attention. but he doesnt respond. he takes a back seat to just observes her and then brushes her aside. While if you notice when he is with Paro, he is the one who constantly tries to break the silence. He works hard trying to approach her. Remember the episode where he was taking her to see mamisa after the baraat massacre. on the way in the jeep he started a convo about her village and the mud houses that she lives in...or the episode where he brought her to the haveli and she kept on observing him while he was playing with the food tins...he found it necessary to explain everything.She ofcourse didnt respond.She is silence personified.This quality of hers soothes him and attracts him.

5) He is territorial about Paro. Doesnt allow anyone near her nor does he allow anyone to take her name (especially Aman, love those killer glares he gives aman whenever he takes her name) The territorial behavior is combined more with protectiveness than love at the moment. But then i have sensed something raw and primitive in Rudra whenever he comes in contact with Paro. He has constant need to intimidate her at the same time assure her that she is safe with him. these two feelings of his is constantly battling within him while he deals with her. While with Laila, all his feelings are very surface and basic...annoyance,convenience and lust.

6) Laila tries to move heaven and earth for Rudra...just so that she may have some rights and commitment from him. Rudy very clearly tells her not to expect it from him but she still hopes. 8years man! thats too long for hope. While with Paro he just handed over his room and his space on a silver platter (ofcourse he wasnt happy about it..he has to atleast pretend to be disgruntled about sharing space with a woman after all his high handedness)

7 ) Paro needs something and he just gives. (he ofcourse grumbles and glares first. Wouldnt be called Rudy without it would he?). In fact he doesnt see anything wrong in going to laila and asking for it. Laila means nothing to him. Paro needs protection and he drags his handicapped and bitter father across town to go live in the haveli of horrors , one which holds night mares for both of them just so that Paro remains safe. doesnt even blink an eye. While Laila isnt even allowed to call him if she needs anything.

8) Last but not the least...its like Senior Ranawaut said...he is burning sand and she is cold, soothing rain...he needs her to soothe his soul. While Laila is a burning flame. She wont soothe him ...they would just burn each other alive.

True... Both rudra n laila are just burning flames... Laila cannot bring his heart to a peaceful state

Laila doesn't figure in the scheme of things for Rudra. She is just a convenience for his biological needs from time to time. Laila has read too much into his actions or his physical involvement with her. Laila is dreaming to "own" him but he like hot, quick silver sand is going to slip out of her hands.

Where Paro is concerned, Rudra does not need to do anything nor does Paro! When the time comes, This cooling rain Paro is going to sooth Rudra's hot sand like soul and bring that relief that he has been seeking for so long. He needs his belief in love and marriage back! He needs his trust in beautiful women back and he will get all of that with Paro and no one else! But before that happens both Rudra and Paro have to burn through some more!!
