Salman Khan and Elli Avram
It was obvious during Bigg Boss that Salman Khan had really taken to Elli Avram, and even after that, he has gone on record to say good things about her. So much so, that he's evenrecommended her name to Sooraj Barjatya for their upcoming flick, since Deepika Padukone has date issues and may not get to do the film. Quite the opening for Elli, who may not have gotten to work with Salman otherwise since his schedule isrelatively full. It's no wonder then that Salman's last co-star (for Jai Ho), Daisy Shah, has been a bit miffed that Elli is receiving the kind of attention that she isn't.
The question, though, is whether this is just the generosity Salman is known for, or whether he and Elli are seeing each other. A MissMalini reader wrote in to ask, so we check with Industrywalla. Here's the gossip straight from him!

Industrywalla says: Well, it's too early to say if they are really dating', but yes, Salman is definitely recommending her to big producers and looking out for her. Elli's work is now being managed by Reshma Shetty, the same person who handles Salman's account. So that does say a lot about how fond he has grown of her, and how much he's trying to help her find her space within the industry. On a personal front, Elli is also getting to know his family, especially Salma Khan, Helen, and Salman's brothers. However, as of now, she is exercising caution in public as she doesn't want to get linked to him. Still, Salman is in touch with her on an almost daily basis and has been giving her advice on the kind of films and endorsements she should take up!
