The newest character going high on the popularity chart is Dhrishtadyumna played by actor Karan Suchak whom we have seen in shows like Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Na Bole Tum Na Mein Kuch Kaha, Savitri. "This is my first mythological character and when I was offered the role I wholeheartedly accepted it because the character of Dhrishtadyumna is a role of a great warrior in Mahabharat. He is the one who will kill Dronacharya the teachers of Kauravs and the Pandavs. My introduction in the show has been shot very nicely and I had a grand entry coming out from the fire."

They congratulated on my entry scene as I also wrote in my social networking forum that finally out off the fire." Karan also shares that he is having a great time shooting with Sudesh Berry who plays his on screen father and with the Kaurabs and Pandavs.
